It is one of the best I've ever seen, I'm not that old though. I'm not 100% sure but I think one time in either the late 80s or early 90s they had a team not give up a score during the regular season. But this years is definitely way up there though.

Larry Hall had a team I thought in the 90's that was absolutely lights out.
It may be the team that BF101 is referring to?
All I know is they were ridiculous.
This is a very good defense tho.
You can never compare other eras really tho. You can't know the other teams and what you were playing against.
Enjoy the talent that is there now for sure!

7 of there opponents are a combined 23-40 record and those seven teams avg just 18 pts per game offense

I'm not sure about the best but it's def one of the best I've seen. My bro played for ed and larry both back in the early 90's. I don't really remember much from ed but I do remember larry. The burg had some pretty nasty defenses that I remember and this is def one of them

where will this game be played at if/when it happens ?? who knows ??? this would be must see game for anyone I wouldn't pay any attention to that guy from florida!!! I don't see burg getting blown out in this and if ball or 2bounces there way , create turnover etc etc u just never know who may win!!!

After what I have witnessed this season. I can define Wheelersburg's defense in ONE WORD: Suffocating.

The best defense ever from the Pirates would probably be the 1974 season. They had 7 shutouts and only gave up 19 points all year. 10-0 that year.
