As pointed out so well In the latest edition of the Jackson paper Wellston has almost played itself out of almost any possible playoff position. It did not seem that the Jackson sportswriter really felt bad about the fortunes of the Rockets.

Jackson is currently 4th in their region.

Wellston curently has 0000000000000 points.

Yes this is a good series ..............................

For Jackson.

2old.....Once again, as always, you are living in the world of pure speculation.

Your posts directed at me are nothing more than poor attempts of attacking me based on our past — and long running — bitter grudge. One which not go away anytime soon either.

I simply laugh them off, and laugh at you, like everyone else does.

So you are suggesting that the Waverly loss is because they lost to Jackson as well? An answer like that is not surprising from you.

You are just another poster who does not understand scheduling and developing a program. i have held many remedial classes on the subject. Too bad the concepts escape you. I am impressed with the number of posters who have come to understand it. I will be helping people like you again. Please sign up early and get a front row seat.

Dil,

I see another guy who can not grasp a concept. If Ironton took their annual beatings 19 years in a row i would recommend they leave the league. ironton would not open with anyone who beat them 19 years in a row. Even Ironton is too smart for that. Heck the Jackson fans laugh behind their backs that Wellston can not figure it out. Ironton is smart enough to schedule teams they can beat. Thye like to play KY teams and teams from Canada. You can attend the next class also if this concept is lost on you.

so if you are saying teams should only schedule teams they can beat, maybe that would say something about logans playoff record?

DIL,

Ok you have proven you do not get the concept. Now maybe I can help you more(you need it) which of the teams in southern Ohio looking up to the Chiefs do you support?

I have explained scheduling multiple times. You missed the class. Be sure to sign up next time. I can see you do not understand. Even using yoru logic it makes no sense. Nearly half the teams in Ohio lose every Friday night.

However for the last 22 regular season games Logan has won 100%. No one in SE Ohio can question Logan's credentials. Certainly not you.

i can't wait for the computer points to come out this week. Wellston played jackson tough and Jackson is 4-0 so Wellston probably will have a bunch of points this week.

Only 2old is out of touch with reality so much that he keeps this thread going — now a full three weeks since the Wellston at Jackson game was played and the next Wellston vs. Jackson game won't be played until next August.

Last time I checked, week four was just completed, not week one. :122249

As for 2old "teaching classes", wouldn't he have to have a college degree in order to do that?

Ahh the bobsie twins,

Both of you a cute in your envy of 2old.

Gahs,
You prove my point. You also are in no position to judge the playoff worthiness of a team. But Wellston is not a playoff team because of poor scheduling if no other reason. The Rockets lose their first game every year. Come to class and learn. Kids are quitting and the post on Wellston threads indicate chaos. This does not happen when teams win. Kids do not quit a winner.

Geezer,

So glad you mentioned my degree. You seem so proud of yours. Mine reads Ohio University. Is yours from cereal box tops or cracker jacks?

2dumb....oops, I mean 2old. Sorry, honest mistake. :122245

Looks like I successfully struck a nerve.

My degree reads Ohio University Bachelor of Science in Journalism. And, you are correct on one thing. I am very proud of my degree.

And, unlike yours I'm sure, my degree is real. Not printed up at Kinko's or someplace on Court Street.

Geezer,

I can tell you are a REAL journalist. You do NO research. You just print things. My diploma reads Bachelor of Science in Finance. If you cared to research like a REAL journalist you would know that and not post things that are untrue. That is what is wrong with Journalism in America today. Journalist do not do their job or are not capable of doig it or just lazy. I can not begin to know which one fits you. I have my suspicions. Of course the truth never stops a so called journalist.

Matt,

I covered alot of why Wellston should stop this series if it is for money only much earlier in this thread. But i know you have been busy so i will give you a few qick reasons.

1. No team should start each season 0-1.
2. If it is for money only it is not fair to the boys to be nothing but a fund raisre for the athletic department.
3. The long range effects of losing 19 years in a row are hard on the program. Winning is a habit and an attitude. Witness ironton in the 1900's( how could we forget) or logan since 2003.
4. A victory followed by a victory could put Wellston in a better playoff position. Wellston could even be in a hosting position.
5. Jackson is the big winner not only on the field but also at the gate. jackson can hold twice as many fans as Wellston and charge for parking.
6. Jackson also is guilty of not thinking ahead. By scheduling Wellston and VC their computer points at the end of the season coudl place them in a non hosting position as oppossed to hosting. For example i am sure all of Jackson wish they could have hosted the Playoff game humpries senior year i beleive. The played the Cincy team with Donte love. Close game game. At home maybe Jackson prevails.

Just a few thoughts. Teh bottom line is this is a bad game for the Rockets.

2old....You can say anything you want about your big bad Bachelor of Science in Finance degree, but — like ALL of your posts no matter what the topic — I learned loooooooonnnnnnnnnnggggggggggg ago not to believe a single solitary word you say in any sentence.

That includes "it" "and" and "the"

Thank God I'm not taking financial advice from you either. I feel sorry for the poor souls that are......IF there are any.

gahs4ever.....Good points in your last post.
