This will be a pretty close game but I see the hornets coming away with the victory.

Valley wont stop the run and CG will marchbup and down the field on them.
I look for CG to win by 14-21 points

Coal Grove is definately stronger than Huntington and Rock Hill... if we work hard and get our game plan down than i see us taking it by a TD.

Re: coal grove vs lucasville valley
If the Grove has the offense clicking like it has through the first two weeks then I don't see them losing this one. I really don't want to give a score or a spread, but this will be a good game and a good warmup for next week.

Yep

I can tell you right now that if CG comes in thinking this is a warmup they are in for a shocking surprise. Valley has about 5 players who can score from any point of the field at any time. CG will be stronger but Valley will be much faster... Classic speed vs. strength matchup

WRONG! Have you seen CG play this year? This isn't the typical big, slow Coal Grove team you're used to. CG might be strong, but it doesn't compromise their team speed at all.
Coal Grove will have just as much speed as Valley - count on it.

Re: coal grove vs lucasville valley
Why is it no one is giving us credit for the speed we have on our team, all you ever hear or read about is the strength and power running game. I believe we can match speed with anyone on our schedule, ask Meigs and Paint Valley about our speed.
Re: coal grove vs lucasville valley
if valley would quit holding and blocking or should i say quit barely touching someone in the back they might have 3 punts returned for td's right now. just block once and stay in front and let holcomb do the rest we killed ourselves against rock hill with penalties ...... geez!!

The guy obviously hasn't seen them play and is just using a Coal Grove stereotype.
I'll tell you this, though: If I hadn't seen it for myself, I wouldn't have believed it.

A lot of people comment on a regular basis on things they've yet to see. The same could be said for those on here who believe CG will have just as much speed as Valley. Unless a person has seen BOTH teams play, they have nothing substantial to base it on.

OK...thanks. We all appreciate that warning. And, as scared as we are, I'm sure the kids will show up and work as hard as they can. Best of luck to both teams.

I don't see why they would. . . it'll be pretty pointless.
