Meigs 39 River Valley 7

Post by mattash »

Meigs is the best 2-0 team in SEO and takes it's frustration out on River Valley.

Meigs is the best 0-2 team in the area by far. They have lost two close ones to a couple of quality teams. Meigs will roll big in this one.

the kids need this one bad. the d needs a leader like the 1 they lost last year. where is the senior leaders when you need them? i think they are there they just have to be more forceful.

A-Town bigdawg, I think Wellston is a pretty good 0-2 team too.
To this game,,,or practice for Meigs. Meigs can name the score. With Coach Chauncy he will call the dogs off early in this one and play younger kids.

Meigs is 2 defensive stops from being 2-0..
I look for the Marauders to step up the D and keep the same offensive attack and take this one easily

Tough start for Meigs, however they will be o.k., should get on the winning side of the ledger Friday night, and then league play begins. They need to shore up the defense if they are going to be a threat in the league.

Wellston is a very solid 0-2 team, however with that schedule, you may see a repeat of last year, could easily be 0-4/0-5 by the time they get to the part of their schedule where they can really make hay. Wellston and Gallia will be a battle, and probably the only shot left at a Gallia W

The bad news is Meigs will beat River Valley badly.
The good news is I think River Valley might get their first points of the season in this one.

Meigs - A lot

River Valley - 6

The Marauders have given up a lot of points, but the Raiders have not scored at all. However, this is a rivalry, somewhat, and I think the Raiders will come to play. Also, if there is a team the RV coaching staff knows a lot about, it is a Chancey Marauder team. But, the Marauders will score and score often. I think the young RV squad will be able to punch in a couple on the varsity, and one on the JV when the game gets out of hand.

Meigs- 49

RV-18

he was thinking gallia academy was going to make another run at the playoffs. normally a good bet and in 2 years these kids will be ready.
now as for river valley meigs better be on their toes. meigs has lost 2 winnable games against very good teams. they need to play like tomorrow will not come.
