If coaches intentionally vote teams poory should they be called out on it--It can be blatantly obvious
Whether I care for a team or not- for the integrity of the sport , I make my voting fair! Most coaches do. There are those that don't and it shows the type of person they are.
The vote is made available to the head coaches

Re: Coaches integrity and voting in state duals
For example, Zane trace scores 236 points in a tournament and takes home a trophy.
Federal hocking scores 29.
Who would you vote for as having the better team?
Or
Zane trace scores 284 and Southeastern scores 83.
Who would get the highè vote
Or Zane trace has 284 and river valley has 150
I could go on and on
Crooksville voted Zane trace last
Like ZT or me or not, have some integrity

Re: Coaches integrity and voting in state duals
This has been a problem at Zane Trace ever since it has went to online voting and the Southeast District has done nothing about it. It happened in both Baseball and Volleyball to Zane Trace last year. Crooksville's coach more than likely did not vote. Zane Trace is last in the alphabetical order and if a coach does not vote or does not "Save and Submit" correctly, ZT ends up getting the last place vote because it goes in alphabetical order. It cost them two seed spots last spring in the baseball sectional because two coaches ended up not voting which gave ZT only 1 point (out of 15) from each school because Zane Trace is at the end of the alphabetical order. Southeast District Board was notified, but did nothing about it. Evidently, they still have done nothing about it. Let the AD know about this.

The coach did get one and access the system. He .oved Nelson Ville up to the one spot and left us last. Is ny better? Maybe, maybe not. But other teams glairingly aren't

This happens in wrestling a lot. in the team tourney. Sometimes i think these guys vote for the shortest bus ride. As bad as i hate it maybe there should just be different host schools each round each year not based on seeding
