Re: WK 4 Jackson @ Portsmouth SEOAL Game
Great game for the fans to watch, Congrats to Jackson on the win. We gotta have a game where we play two halfs of football.

Portsmouth can't get out of its own way. When are they going to get some discipline and knock out the stupid penalties????

There was a growing belief in the crowd last night that this game might end up like last weeks Wheelersburg game with the Trojans down 17-0 at halftime. I'm proud of the way our players responded to the adversity last night. Disappointed in the loss, but proud. We have Chillicothe next and we are probably ourgunned, but I agree with Ozzie, if we could put two halves together we might be a pretty good team. This was a great High School game.
GO TROJANS!

Chilly could be just what the Trojans need. Chilly is way down.

Very tough lose for the Trojans last night. They didn't play well in the first half, but really gutted it out in the second. Angelo Jackson ran the ball really well tonight and showed some great burst on the one that got called back. The officiating of this game was the worst that I have ever seen. I'm not blaming them for the lose because they were terrible both ways. The TD called back was a terrible call, the kid made sure he had his head way out in front and the video shows this plan as day. On the roughing the kicker call I can't say if it was or not. I was watching the ball sail left and thinking we had just one. As for the Defense, we came out flat in the first half and gave them confidence. That confidence help them in that last drive of the game. Offense, it was really nice to see the run game work so well. Brennan Howard and Casey Sanders dominated the right side of our line last night in the second half. As far a some saying we didn't pass enough, when the run is not being stopped don't stop running. The passing game wasn't on last night, we had several balls over thrown and/or dropped last night. This team needs to understand the season is not over and they have 6 games left. This is a heart breaker and was very winnable for us. But, we have to put 2 half of sound football together to win games. As for what bigdowgg said in an earlier post about the passing game. I to don't understand why we don't get the ball to Kyle Simpson a little more in the passing game. Just as a fan, I have attended all 4 games and he has made plays in all of the first 3 games. But, then again maybe that's why I'm not a coach LOL. If we can get some balance in our offense I think we will be pretty good on offense. Good luck Jackson on the rest of the season and Trojans don't give up and let several people on here be right by saying were not very good. We are getting better and good things will come if we just stay with it.

Congratulations to the Jackson Ironmen on the win.........
I was VERY PROUD of our Trojans for their comeback in the second half........and as others have said on this thread, we need to play 4 quarters of good football.......I felt we lost the game in the first half........down 17-0.........but in the second half we showed a lot of spirit and intensity........we outscored the Ironmen 26-10.
We missed out on a golden opportunity for big computer points, but we just have to regroup, go to Chillicothe and play 4 good quarters.......to beat the Cavaliers, we will have to do just that, and nothing less. Making the playoffs is still possible, but it just became much more difficult after last night.
GO TROJANS!! I WILL BE IN CHILLICOTHE CHEERING FOR YOU!!
