Belpre keeps improving each week which is good, they have a tough schedule from now on. 2 games they should win Vinton County, Bishop Rosecrans. I hope they win em all but it will be difficult, but can happen. Keep working hard guys, each week you're getting closer, and closer.

Belpre kids played great and they deserved a win tonight.Two plays hurt them,the snap over the punters head that went into the endzone and Tyler tried to pass it instead of taking the safety and threw it right to Alexander and not punting the ball on 4th and 14 on their own 40 leading 28-27 with 6:00 left to play giving alex a short field and allowing them to score the go ahead touchdown.They still nearly scored on the last series but couldn't quite get it in. Alex played a great game also and they have a good team but Belpre definitly should have won the game tonight.

Great game! Alex had to many turnovers and looked really flat until the end. 2 blown coverages lead to easy TD passes for Belpre. Great game and great job by the Spartans for pulling it out. Good teams find ways to win, your on the right path!

Eaglepapaw, you are right---the pass on the punt attempt was a bad play. The 4th and 14 fake punt/run in the 4th was a real gutsy call that just didn't work out. Belpre looked much improved, and should keep improving as players return. They did not quit during the entire game, which was impressive. Belpre will definitely win some games, and opponents better prepare for a good team that will keep getting better, especially on home turf. Good luck the rest of the way.
