First state ap poll is out. Ironton #2, other locals listed

Ironton debuts at #2 in D4 behind defending state champion Kettering Alter. Also Logan on list of D2 top ten along with Coal Grove in D5.

The Grove is number 9 in DV, with a win this week against Minford could move up another spot.

I agree........There's still several Southeastern Ohio Teams that can keep moving up that list.

Yea I know what you mean, I'd like to see Logan at least move up to #2 before next week but I don't see that happening either. I guess we'll have to play each other next week no matter where we are in the polls.

Where is Ursuline in D5? Are they down this year? They weren't even in the top 15

I don't know if they are down or not..but they are 1-2 having won against St. Charles and losses against Central Catholic (PA) and Lake Catholic.

Ursuline is not down this year but is playing a killer schedule. Look for them in the playoffs again and another deep run. They are good enough to win it all again.
