I could probably send you a set of glasses too. The push in the back was after #57 was running towards the play, and you can't reach up and grab someones ankle and trip them like what happened to #78.

I'd have to disagree on the call. I didn't really see anything wrong with either one of those blocks. Both looked legit to me. It was hard to tell if there was any jersey grabbed, but if the call was block in the back, didn't see that at all.

The wingback engaged #57 with his head in front and contact was made, #57 then steped into the line and turned his back into the blocker. That is not a penality since the block was already happening. If that were to be a penality then every defensive end that was beat on a sweep or a quick pitch would just turn his back into the TE or WB and get the call. You should review the rules.
Re: Week 5 Minford @ Oak Hill
Look, does it really matter what calls were made during the course of the game? If Minford was two to three scores better than Oak Hill(as some predictors said) then officiating would've been a non-factor in the game.
Re: Week 5 Minford @ Oak Hill
I see nothing wrong with either of the blocks in question. Bad call in my opinion.
Re: Week 5 Minford @ Oak Hill
It matters if it determine the outcome of the game wich in this case it did. I have been pretty quiet on this one because I dont like to blame a loss on the refs but after watching the video and hearing from a very reliable source about the ref hugging the Slone kid after the game IMO Oak Hill can mark this win with a little * beside it. Home job. Either way though its now in the past and both teams have games to concentrate on this week time to get over it and move on Falcons.
Re: Week 5 Minford @ Oak Hill
You have got to be kidding me! You Minford fans blame every loss on the refs. You all are over on the Burg thread saying that you got homered against them last year, not once, but twice. Do you all just ever lose a ballgame because the other team played a better game. No, you can't. How sad are you guys.
I could see if there was only one flag, but there were two. Are you telling me that every ref just hates Minford. Poor little old Minford getting picked on every time they loose. Grow up!
Simple: Oak Hill flat out played them the second half. You should be asking why Slone didn't carry the ball more in the second half and why your coach acted like an idiot and cost you a chance at a first down because the block in the back didn't take you out of the drive, but the unsportsmen like did. No, you blame the obvious, the refs. I really wanted you guys to win this week, but I now hope the Burg just beats the crap out of you, so I don't have to hear how bad the refs were all next week. Try losing gracefully sometime. You will get more respect that way, but after all, this is the Minford people we are talking about and that's your MO. Keep blaming the refs, it's rather amusing.
Oh, by the way,
Oak Hill 5-0
Minford 4-1

Oakie1: That's where you are wrong, there was only one flag from the Ref who hugged your QB at the end of the game. The second flag came out on Minford's coach's for questioning the call, which he has every right to do,. . Look there are posters from West, Burg, and East that have all said that was a home job call, so it's not just the Minford fans/ Anyway, that score should read
Oak hill 20
Minford 14 the refs 7
