Re: Week 5 Logan @ Ironton
I might just have me some insider info on a special meeting between the coaching staff, the band, school administrators and the parents tomorrow at Logan. (Clue ..it might just involve 300 lbs of popcorn seeds, 3000 hot dogs and 20 gallons of hot dog sauce) and that is all I can give for right now..

looks like logan learn after 17 to 6 record to ironton

Great post. The teams you show that cal preps predicts would beat Logan are all from the MAC. As noted by their division they are all much smaller than Logan. This prediction really puts a damper on the popular SE Ohio whine that Logan is so big they should win. It shows that with proper coaching, preparation and attitude any school, any place, any where can win. So buckle up your helmuts in SE Ohio look NW and LEARN how to play. The Chiefs need better competition than SE Ohio is giving them.

Yep..they've learned a lot since 1990! Good luck tonight to both teams! Hope it's a great game! GO CHIEFS!

Sounds like a wet sloppy field is going to help keep it close. Ironton needs all the help they can get. Logan wins wet or dry. Good luck to all the players and fans, have fun and hope for no injuries.

Re: Week 5 Logan @ Ironton
Maybe the MVL could get Zanesville, Logan & another team(probably a smaller school than those two)
Go to 2 division, big & little.
Big
Tri-Valley
Zanesville
Logan
Sheridan
Philo
John Glenn
Small
Crooksville
New Lex
West M.
Morgan
Maysville
Other team.
It would never happen but, there would be some great games played.

It's funny because some posters on this threads not even from Ironton, I guess you need to figure out the posters that are actually from Ironton to make that statement.

Yeah..that wouldn't happen b/c of Logan huh? Don't be stupid. Of course..we could try leaving to play KY teams..but it's too far.

I didn't mean it in a way that Logan would be the only team against it.
I'm not being stupid It's a fact, Logans not going to leave the SEOAL. Do you think they would actually leave the SEOAL for that League, something they have been a part of for so long????

Do you qactually think Ironton is the only team along the Ohio / West Virginia border that plays out of State teams?????
St Xavier plays 2 KY teams
Elder plays a KY team
Bishop Ready plays KY teams
Warren plays 2 WV teams
Marietta plays 2 WV teams
should I keep going.......that happens when you live on the boarder of other States.
Re: Week 5 Logan @ Ironton
OH,
You are so right. The difference is the rest of the border schools DO NOT spend their entire posting life telling us all how good they are. Elder for example lets the team do it on the field. Unfortunately the Tigers can not do it on the field so Ironton has to rell us how good they are.
Please do not insult X or Elder by mentioning ironton in the same breath as either one of those programs.

If the rain keeps up like it is now, I don't see Logan throwing the ball like they want, this very well may by the Tigers night.

If Logan could leave the SEOAL for a more reasonable and more competitive league...then yes..I could see them doing it actually. I don't think the fact that they are a founding member would sway there decision in any way. Logan will do whatever they need to do to get better.
