EVERY 1 SAW/HEARD WHAT EACH TEAM WAS MADE OF.....I STATED EARLIER, AFTER OUR LOSS TO ASHLAND. THAT I WAS MORE COMFORTABLE WITH BIG AND FAST(L0GAN) THAN I WAS WITH SMALLER AND QUICK(ASHLAND) AND IT PROVED TO BE A BETTER MATCH UP AS MY GUTT T0LD ME SO.
THIS STATEMENT WILL FOLLOW BOTH I TOWN AND LOGAN THE REST OF THE SEASON....

TO ASK ANYONE TO NOT BASE WHAT WAS SEEN/HEARD ON THIS FIELD AS REPRESNTATIVE OF EITHER TEAM, IS SIMPLY SILLY. WHAT TOOK PLACE, TOOK PLACE. WE ALL HAVE TO ACCEPT WHAT TOOK PLACE AND THE OUTCOME AS WELL.. EACH TEAM SHOWED WHAT THEY ARE CAPABLE OF OR NOT. EACH RAN INTO A HURDLE THEY DIDNT THINK THEY WOULD. EN ROUTE TO A VICTORY OR A LOSS.
IF ANY BOLD TEAMS FROM OUR RESPECTIVE REGIONS HAPPENED TO SCOUT, THERE IS NO DOUBT, THAT SCOUTING WILL COME INTO PLAY AND BOTH I TOWN AND LOGAN EACH NEEDS SOME EXTRA "UMPH' TO PROGRESS PAST THE FINAL EIGHT IN THEIR RESPECTIVE DIVISIONS.

NO EXCUSES!!!

WHAT TOOK PLACE WAS REAL.. AND NOW THE REALITY OF IT IS TO DEAL WITH IT, NOT PAMPER IT... I WISH EACH THE BEST AND A STATE CHAMPIONSHIP. I HAVE FOLLOWED THIS TRAIL SINCE I WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL AND IRONTON WON THE STATE WHEN I WAS FROSH KNOCKING OFF AKRON ST. VIN. ST. MARY.

SO TO ASK ANY ONE TO NOT BASE WHAT HAPPENED ON THE REAL ABILITY OF YOUR TEAM IS SIMPLY SOMEONE WHOM IS NOT SECURE IN THEIR THOUGHTS OF THEIR TEAMS CHANCES.. BEEN TO THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TOO MANY TIMES, AND EXCUSES ARE SOMETHING I CAN SMELL THRU THIS COMPUTER IN FLORIDA.. GOOD LUCK TO BOTH.. LOGAN CAN DO IT, BUT GET READY FOR ANY SMART TEAM IN YOUR REGION WHO SCOUTED TO GIVE YOU FITTS, AS WELL AS IRONTON, IF THIS HAPPENED. NOT SURE IF THEY DO THIS SO EARLY, BUT IF FINANCES ARE THERE IT WOULD MAKE SENSE TO SCOUT BOTH SOUTHERN OHIO TEAMS, WHOM ARE JUST READY TO TAKE A STATE CROWN
UNACACCEPTING OF THE CHALENGE AND THE MATCHING OF OFFENSE. AND DEFENSE A TEAM JUST HANDED YOU SHOULD HAVE YOU CONCERNED AND I HOPE IT FUELS YOUR TEAM TO PERFORM TO THAT OF THE LEVEL OF DIVISION TWO, AND THIS STATEMENT ALSO GOES OUT TO IRONTON ALSO, BECAUSE THE RUNNING GAME WAS STAMPED BY THE POWERFUL LOGAN DEFENSE, ESPECIALLY ON FOURTH AND SHORT ATTEMPTS..

A PROUD SUPPORTER OF SOUTHEASTERN OHIO SPORTS FROM ORLANDO... GOTIGERSGO!!!!!GETTHEBALL, GETTHEBALL, GETTHEBALL, GETTHEBALL.GETTHEBALL..... BEAT CHILI!!!

Someone has to be Passionate...not lovey-dubby..When you beat a rival you stand over the broken remains of the team and make sure it's not moving anymore..if it is then you score more next time..just for good measure..that's called a rivalry. I've SEEN OSU fans beat up Michigan fans for just being at the game, but everyone loves the Buckeyes..Double standards here? So Words on a forum will not hurt anybody...just words! Enjoy! Who needs "class" when you got victories?

Great night. First went to see Warren Harding beat a very good one loss Euclid team 35-7 and find that Logan also beat the tiggers as expected. How sweet it is.

Congrats Chiefs !! :-D

A rivalry??? Really??? These two hadn't played in years and then started back up when Ironton joined the SEOAL, so I really wouldn't count this game as a rivalry.

A good hard fought game between two great programs. yes that is what I would call it.

You win with class and you lose with class. :122249

There's a lot of river along southern ohio.....Don't let some one who may not be from IHS stir it up..... Great job Logan!! !! Both teams need to be proud of their effort and both make a deep playoff run.

Passionate is one thing..........being totally absurd and degrading is another.

Lovey-dubby I ain't, but respectful I am.

what an absolutely brilliant effort out of both teams. both teams gave everything they had, it had nothing to do with officiating, there were mistakes made on both sides , by both teams. tempers were flaring. flags were thrown. great game. all around , no excuses. but if ironton had not been so conservative with their play calling , i think we'd have won. we shoved it down logan's neck all night. but you cannot continue not to pass , run up the gut, against 11 man fronts, and always run the short side of the field. maybe with greenup, but not logan, there i've said it. chastise me, but you me and everybody knows it.

The kids from both schools deserve kudos for the performance they gave their fans tonight. No head should hang. Best of luck to both programs here on out. Should be interesting come playoff time.

How many turnovers did Ironton have tonight?

Respect: Warren, Gallia, Jackson, Marrieta, Zanesville..Maybe Chilli..but just no love for Ironton.. I had more to say but I can see true passion is not appreciated here so I'll excuse myself from this Topic. On to next week. Let's beat down Z-Ville..     I'll remember there are apparently rules on this forum and I'll be sure to hug the Z-ville posters after we beat them.

it is strange to me the entire community of ironton talks about this, but no one will discuss it here. why not give our speed backs the wide side to run, where they can make a move. throw the ball more than 3 times a game. and when we get a short yardage situation, they put 11 in the box, and we go right behind center, every time. i'm sorry i'm not into moral victories, we used to win these close games. now we never do. the kids can only perform what play is called , they are trusting their staff will make competent play calls.

ssreaper, stfu til you grow up noob.

ytb, I heard Itown throw a couple that were flat out dropped by the WR. Definitely could have changed the game in the 2nd half. One was a halfback throw the wr was wide open for a first down, but dropped. Ironton could make a playoff run if the weather is bad enough and cold enough. Good luck to both teams.
