Great job tonight West. Ratliff 6 of 13 passing. Really looked good at times throwing the ball. Will really come in handy later. Pass protection was great. I don't think they touched him all night in the pocket.

Defense looked great except for the 1 play. This is the kind of balance we need. Keep building on this.

I don't think so. He only had like 128 yards on 6 carries with 3 touchdowns. :122245 He had a 30 plus yard TD catch also. I think he had 750 yards or so coming in, so he's really close to 900 yards. His yards per carry for the season must be amazing.

I'm not sure on the TD's. But he has to be averaging 3 TD's a game.

I guess he had more yards than I thought. His combo of speed and size is very uncommon at this level. He has the vision, footwork, and balance that you can't teach. He's just a great player.

Murphy is a heck of a back also. With Pendelton's talent, sometimes others fly under the radar, but Murphy needs to be a big part of the offense also. IMO Murphy is best in the pistol where he can use his vision. In that set Pendelton goes out to a flanker where they can use his pass catching ability and also get him the ball quickly on the corner. This has to be a nightmare to defend. Last year they ran alot more read option stuff from the pistol. I think as they get Ratliff more experience we'll see more of this, as it is alot of pressure on the QB on when to give it or keep it. When they get that down, West's offense is really gonna go.

Would like to see Locher play more receiver. He's definately one of the best athletes on the team. With that crowded backfield he's probably not going to run the ball alot. I think he could really be a weapon if they could get him the ball in space.

Want to give props to the Cooper boy #79 on the kickoff team. He can absolutely motor for a big guy and was usually one of the first guys to get to the ball. He's a wedge breaker delux. Maybe he can get into the rotation at Defensive tackle.

Just in time too. I thought they looked really good tonight on both sides of the ball. At times, the O looked a little stagnet but it was a big improvement. Ratliff gained alot of confidence as the game went along. He's going to be a great QB for West. He has all the tools.

Heard Coach on the radio. He was still upset about some things especially in the first half. But he had to be encouraged with alot of what he saw. West is going to get alot better before the years over.

How does the best player in the county only get SIX carries? I hope this was a way to try to keep him fresh for the SOC games and not a preview of things to come. Three of his six carries were on fourth down and went for TD's

best PLAYER,or best RUNNING BACK?

I would take Shank, or Lang from burg as overall best player.

Im not sure he is even the BEST player on West team, Murphy is geting short changed down there, they should let Pendleton do some blocking for him :!:

Doubt it beacause Pendleton gets all of our carries! We need to start getting Murphy the ball more. I would like to see West give the ball more to Alex Thompson, he had some good carries last week vs. Rock Hill!

I agree give the ball to Murphy more after all this is his last year, Pendleton has next year to go, I think this is Thompson last year too. When Murphy does get the ball there is very very few blocks made. Did the rest of the team for get how to Block?

words well spoken, this is his last year and they are hurting Murphy not helping him, Those boys better start blocking for Murphy after all Football is more than just scoring TD, let someone else score and get the ball once in a while change things up let the boy learn other fundamentals of the game not just running. After all that make the best player on the field
