TVC POY: BARTOE OR LUTZ

Who ever gets TVC POY between Lutz or Bartoe will probably be District POY as well. Just want some others opinions. I think that Lutz should get it but my opinion may be a little favored for any Athens player, But IMO it HAS to be one of these 2 players.

Athens might depend on Lutz more than VC depends on Bartoe. Looking at it that way Lutz is the POY of Athens but conference wise it might be Bartoe.

Yates is a good ball player, but he doesn't really have that IT factor. The boy can shoot the lights out that's for sure! And this is no disrespect to any other players in the conference, their are plenty of great ball players throughout our conference.

I have watched games where he had the IT factor. The kid looked great in the tournament last year. Every player has off nights, even Lutz & Bartoe, so unless you've seen a kid play multiple times you cant really judge his ability.

With both being in the same conference and playing a lot of the same teams you could look at both being their team leader and it could come down to best record. If VC wins both it should go to Bartoe if they split it could be Co. POY, if no other losses in the conference.

Lutz was POY last year despite Athens being a .500 team & him missing 1/3 of the season.

How many teams are in the OHIO? 7? If so then the only way a co would happen is if someone voted for neither player.

It's a Coin Toss between Lutz and Bartoe-As far as Yates goes I have watched his "progression over the last year and a half. Right now he is playing his Role-Bartoe is VCs leader and the Engine that drives them as is Lutz for Athens. Next year Yates will take over that Role as Jones and Bartoe graduate. The younger Yates-Nevin will step up and be a Role player as well-VC and Athens both loaded with Talent for the next couple of Years

This is a good debate. I could see it going either way. Do you vote for the best player on the best team (Bartoe)? Or do you vote the player with the best stats (Lutz)? However, you have to keep in mind Bartoe's stats would probably be better playing for a different team. He has sat a lot this year due to blow out wins.

I would give it to Bartoe but that could be my VC bias.
