Martin Brodeur is the best when he is on and he has been on against the Pens as of late.

New Jersey is one team that I would want to stay away from in the playoffs.

Hosed or not, you have to play through those things. Things have a way of evening out over the season. I say get the calls in the playoffs.

I hope the Pens stay injury free thru the Olympics.

Pens are just 3-7 since Christmas, but are 2-1 on this 5 game road trip.

Tonight vs the Oilers than saturday at Vancouver.

The 3-1 win over the Flames was quality win. The powerplay is looking better.

The Pens get cooled down by the Canucks last night.(6-2) Back up goalie John Curry was pulled and the Pens played a 19 year old russian goalie on a one day contract in his place.It was a typical last game of a western road trip for the Pens.They always seem to run out of gas...

Could very well be. Pens have alot of injuries at this time. Everybody is pressing. Good to get them out of the way now. I worried about this but thought that the injuries and fatigue could be a factor after the Olympics. They may still be.

Lets talk about the rookie goalie, Pechurski. WOW! The kid did a good job when we needed it. Give him an Iron City! The Canucks had 4 goals in under 5 minutes to blow open a tight game and he came in to stop the bleeding. Even the Vancouver fans gave him a standing O after the game.

We may have had our hats handed to us but we may have found a real gem with the 19 year old Russian. Will he stick with the team for another game or could we see him later in the season?

Back to the Igloo for the Islanders and Caps on tuesday and thursday.
