TVC should absorb the SEOAL...
Let them take in those teams. They should use the SEO name becaus eof the tradition. What an incredible league!

An incredible league that seems to be falling apart!!
If it is that incredible why are teams leaving(or looking to leave)?

I think what he is saying is that the TVC and SEOAL should become one league, just be different divisions, and call the league the SEOAL.
Have one division of the current SEOAL schools
Have one division of the current TVC Ohio schools
Have one division of the current TVC Hocking schools
That would truely create a Souteastern Ohio Athletic League, as all schools in the area would be in the same league, but they would not have to play each other if they were in different divisions. It would allow for future expansion........maybe even divide it up to create a fourth division.
The key point being that if a school left that was a current SEOAL school, the league would still be strong because life or death of the league would not hinge on the departure of a handful of schools.
I think this is the point of baldeagle's post.

Wonder if any of the current SEOAL teams would want to be in a league were they have a few teams that ran from their league? Seems like they might be- belittle themselves.
If you are going to be in a league of [100] and not play out of your division you just might as well stay in your own league.

This idea carries no water, there is no way it would ever happen. Why would anybody want it to to begin with? The remaining members of the SEOAL are happy with their arrangment so let them be. In my opinion the TVC will likely expand to at least 16 in the near future but, I feel Warren would likely be the only school in the current SEOAL to be given any real consideration if they wanted in.
Re: TVC should absorb the SEOAL...
This would never ever happen but the league I'd like to see would be a Tri-County League made up of the schools from Meigs, Mason, and Gallia Counties split into two divisions
TCL Div. 1
Meigs
River Valley
Gallia Academy
Point Pleasant
TCL Div. 2
Eastern
Southern
Wahama
Hannan
South Gallia
