WK 6 (0-5) River Valley @ (0-5) South Point OVC
Can River Valley come down and win their 2nd conference game in a row?

I'm gonna take rv by a td.
Sp has only scored 5 td's all year..
That isn't impressive at all!

River Valley lost to a bad, bad D6 team friday by 3 touchdowns. They got blown out by a decent D6 Eastern team that will finish around 5-5. They beat both those teams last year. They are down, even by River Valley standards.
South Point is really bad, but still not that bad.

Both teams are having tough years, but South Points schedule has been tougher. I am still going out on a limb and giving it to the Raiders 13-6. More wishful thinking than anything, but it is a winnable game for RV. Good luck to both teams.

No offense to South Point, but this team is absoluetly depleted...they lost 18 seniors off of a squad that should have won the outright Ovc title...the only people they have back I know of is Taylor, Dillon, and Kratzenburg...I have never seen a South Point team look like this...anyway I'll take them 28-7...they have played a very tough schedule, and it could lead to wins against River Valley, Chesapeake, and possibly Rock Hill

South point by as many as they want, river valley is the worst team in southern ohio.
Ya know, the old saying still holds true. Offense sells tickets Defense wins championships, well until the coaches at River Valley teach these kids to play defense and make defense the priority, they will struggle. How disheartning would it be for a team to drive and score and then on the next play from scrimmage the other team goes 75 yards for a TD? Welcome to River Valley football!!
Coaches wake up

Look @@ the same staff is there minus Greg Deel (Xcoach) put McClelland in as head coach, same old Staff.
They have never played defense, even when they had talent.Always give up the big running play. I know first hand, trust me.
In High School you have to play defense and this staff don't get that.
They want to throw the ball on every down, the defense can't read a running play or tackle. If you talk to players and Xplayers they tell you that they run the same scheme and almost alignment on every play (4-4) 6-2 in goal line.
The biggest problem is, getting the kids out for football, trust me there is talent there. If they would just play football.

Sure they look big and strong, but those kids are still in the learning stages. So is the coach for that matter. Not even my old friend Merril Triplett could build a dynasty at RV. So let's don't condemn this coaching staff just yet.
Where else has Triplett built a dynasty at Oak Hill? Ironton? He has done ok at West.
not exactly Woody Hayes. Don't over rate him. He won some games at RV,but they also played defense.

He did very well Symmes Valley he had like 6-8 winning season in a row and took them to the playoffs with a 10-0 record, not sure what happened there at the end of his run there...he's a very good man, and one of the best players coach I've seen...but no one is calling him Woody Hayes, not many people can live up to that billing
