Unioto broke their long losing streak at the beginning of the year and now have two wins on the season but, they lose this one to a better 2-3 team. Piketon 35-13

Piketon wins 34 to 22 over Unioto.

Exciting finish, Unioto turns it over on downs with 5 minutes to go, Miller of Piketon takes it 50 yards on the first play after the turnover making it 34 to 20. Unioto drives it to Piketons 20 with 2:30 to go, when Helton of Piketon picks off a pass. Unioto with 1 timeout, Piketon takes a knee 3 straight times, then the QB takes the 4th down snap and runs out of the back of the endzone for a safety with 33 seconds left. Piketon free kicks it and Unioto after 4 plays throws a hail mary into the endzone, incomplete Piketon win.

Heres hoping Detillion of Unioto recovers quickly, they splinted his lower leg late in the 3rd and it looks like a break. Also, number 11 for Unioto was taken off the field and put in a squad, was told possible head or neck injury. Hoping that both are OK. Congrats to Piketon.

#11 is Belcher. Both are great young men. Hope both are OK. My question is why did they walk the Detillion kid across the field with a possible broken leg and leave him on the bench for a qtr and half? You have the squad there and a golf cart. No need to put that young man though that pain.

Was told by Piketons own trainer Hagerty, that he wanted to stay on the sidelines and watch the game. His father was over there so if they put him in the squad he had to go, and I dont know where the golf cart was!

It is my understanding that Quentin would not leave until the game was over. That hit should have never happen. It was a cheap out of bounds shot.

i was almost right....i was off by two points...lol

Sounds like the streaks played a pretty good game tonight....congrats to the streaks....
hope ty will be back soon, he is having a good year.
i also thougt it was pretty cool that two piketon qbs threw a td...
and congrats to miller with a good game on the ground as well in the air!!!
oh ya...congrats to my little brother who threw his first td pass...and nice interception to seal the deal!!!

Golf cart was behind the Unioto bench. Yogie The play was terrible but was not intentional. Things happen on the field. I personally know the kid, no way did he try to hurt Quentin. I know many in Frenchtown will feel differently and say it was intentional. Quentin was a competitor today. Many times he ran through tackles and the kid wanted to make sure he was down. Should it have happened? NO! I just hope he is OK.

I thought Miller had both? I could be wrong.

Good game for both teams, people at Westfall were listening and giving updates all night long on this one. Very exciting game.

Told you all Unioto would not be a push over.

Hope Quinton is OK and the Unioto center. heard that toward the end there was another injury but didn't hear from which team just something about a possible concusion hope he is OK too.

He was out of bounds and it was an unsportsmanlike conduct play and it was called and no one from Piketon is arguing that. Even the Piketon coaching staff was ripping the player for several minutes and went to check on the young man. It was unfortunate, but not intentional.
