Congrats to the Tigers on a big win. Can anyone tell me if the Staker girl played for Eastern?

I don't know if she played or not. From looking at the picture and roster in the Daily Times.............I don't think there was anyone that played other than the ones pictured. The roster shows Rachel Staker as #23......why would she not have played?. #22 Courtney Rowe carried most of the load for the Lady Eagles doing an excellent job.

ACM, Confirmed this morning that Rachel Staker did not play against New Boston. She has yet to play this season is what I'm told due to some ankle injury from volleyball. I believe Staker has been Eastern's leading scorer the last 2 seasons. If she is back when the Tigers make the trip to the Nest, should be a great game.

Good luck to the Tigers the rest of the season (except against the Eagles )

Notre Dame Titans 44

New Boston moves to 5-0 overall and 4-0 in league play. Notre Dame slips to 1-3 both overall and league. The Tigers travel up to Latham to meet the 1-5, 1-4 Indians on Monday the 14th and return home hosting the Symmes Valley Vikings 3-2, 3-1. On Saturday the 19th NB hosts the winless West Union Dragons. Notre Dame stays on the road for four more games before the Christmas break. Saturday the 12th, the Titans go to Rock Hill, Monday the 14th are at Green 2-2, 2-2, and 12/17 thru 12/19 are participating in the Spring Valley, W.Va. Tournament. Congratulations to the Lady Tigers and Good Luck Titans!

I think that New Boston has a great team and I can see that they have some good players coming up from their JV.
I am a Clay fan and was at the Clay / New Boston game. Very hard fought game.
I predict from what I have seen and heard that New Boston girls will def. be in contention for the SOC.

New Boston defeated the Western Indians on 12/14........47-33.

The Lady Tigers, now 6-0, 5-0 next host the Symmes Valley Vikings 3-3, 3-2 on Thursday, 12/17 and the Dragons of West Union 0-6 on Saturday, 12/19 at 1:30.

The Lady Tigers pick up the win on the road over the Golden Rockets on Monday. NB goes to 8-0, 6-0 in league play while Wellston falls to 2-7 on the year. The Tigers host the 0-8, 0-6 Sciotoville East Tartans on Thursday. Wellston hits the road to Vinton County on Thursday to tangle with the Lady Vikings.

The West Union at New Boston makeup game is scheduled for February 3rd.

The Lady Tigers have also picked up a replacement game for the Ironton St.Joseph game that was cancelled due to the Flyers not fielding a team this year. The game scheduled with the Corning/Hemlock Miller Falcons will be played on January 30th at 2:00.
