Re: New Boston
New Boston 15-2, 11-1 travels to Sciotoville to play the East Tartans on Thursday the 11th. Should the Lady Tigers win, they will at least tie for the conference crown. The Eastern Eagles 13-3, 11-2 host the Green Bobcats 6-10, 4-7 that same night. An Eagle victory keeps their hopes alive. The Tigers are set to make up the final conference game hosting East on Saturday the 13 at 1:00. The Lady Tigers need to win both games to win the SOC I Title four (4) years back to back to back to back.
Congratulations on the success you have had so far! Tiger fans are proud of you! Good Luck this week and into tournament play!
Go Tigers!

Re: New Boston
New Boston is a really talented team, and a really tough team to beat. They have a lot of talent in Missy Buckley, who should be able to lead them deep into the tournament. This is the best team around to me and anybody playing them are in for the night of their life's. The Tigers can hurt you by dumping in down low to Alyssa (spelling might be wrong) or outside with Missy, Shawna, and a couple more. Then let's not forgot about Hamilton who is though and will sacrifice her body to make the little plays that don't show up on the stat sheet.
Good Luck Tigers

Re: New Boston
With the blowout victory over the East tartans last night, the Lady Tigers have now clinched at least a share of their fourth-consecutive SOC title. What a great accomplishment! If they win this Saturday they will win the SOC outright for fourth consecutive SOC (fifth in school history, the first was in 1994). They play their last home game and last game of the season this Saturday (2/13) against the East Tartans with the JV game starting at 1 PM. Good luck Ladies!

The New Boston Glenwood Lady Tigers 48
The Sciotoville East Lady Tartans 45
THE LADY TIGERS ARE SOC I CHAMPS FOUR YEARS IN A ROW! Congrats!
It was Missy Buckley 9..... East 2... early in the game. The first quarter score was Tigers 16-10. East rallied to take the lead at 22-20 with 2:30 to go in the half. The Tartans sank a three pointer as time expired to take a 29-22 lead into the locker room. The third quarter was pretty much nip and tuck with East still leading after 3 at 38-35. In the final frame, the Tigers grabbed the lead for good at the 4:00 mark and held on for the hard fought 48-45 victory.
The Lady Tigers are 17-2 overall and 13-1 in league play. The Lady Tartans are 2-18 and 0-14. The Tartans played like an 18-2 team.....super effort!
New Boston, the #1 seed in the Northwest Sectional has a week off before their first tournament game. The Lady Tigers meet the winner of #8 seed Western and #9 seed East on Saturday, 2/20 at 1:00. Good Luck to all!
The Junior Varsity Lady Tigers finished at 10-6 overall and 10-2 in conference play. Today's game was won by NB by a 31-26 score. Congrats Young Tigers!
