Should the TVC let Warren back in?

Last year, Warren applied for admission to the TVC OHIO, and almost had the votes needed to be re-admitted. In light of recent TVC expansion, do you think Warren should be voted into the TVC as a member of the TVC OHIO?

Do you think Warren would be a fit to join the TVC Ohio as it exists today? If not, what about in a three division TVC?

I say let them in but not by themselves, make it a three team deal so the TVC could split into 3 divisions with 6 teams each. I'm thinking you bring in Warren, Jackson and either River Valley or Gallia Academy(if they would come). If you can't get all three to come in then all bets are off.

I just don't see the TVC changing there minds about Jackson. I think if any one gets an invite it would be RV. I would also like to see Point Pleasant get an invite to.
Yea it would be nice to have GAHS, that way we could have all of Galia county, Meigs county, Athens county, and get Point Pleasant and Hannan and we would have all of Mason County WVa!

I think Athens will do very well in all sports but don't run out and declare them TVC-Ohio champs just yet!!

Personally, I don't think Warren should have left the TVC to begin with. Had eight teams made the playoffs in football in 1986, I don't think Warren ever would have left the league. They only left because they saw Nelsonville-York and Belpre have successful playoff runs in the early 1980's and they could never make the playoffs because at the time, only the top two teams in each region qualified.

I think Warren would be a good fit. I think they have quality programs in all sports and would be fun to compete against but, I don't think they would dominate any sports on a year in and year out basis except for maybe basketball.

I think Warren should be allowed back in but only if they agree to build a bigger trophy case. Heck they are almost out of room with SEOAL trophies and well the SEOAL is stronger.

So far it looks like the folks in favor of letting Warren back in are from Athens, N-Y & Belpre. That doesn't surprise me as these are the schools that feel like they can compete with Warren. I'd be interested to hear what the folks from VC, Wellston, Meigs and the other schools might have to say. Maybe I'm wrong, but I suspect those schools might not be as excited to have Warren re-join. I heard that VC worked hard to keep Warren out last year.

For what it's worth the folks that took Warren out of the TVC are long, long gone.

The fact is, now that Warren is getting the ship righted in football, I don't think there will be as much pressure to leave the SEOAL. Being in the SEOAL has certainly forced Warren to elevate the quality of its athletic program. To leave or not to leave? It's a tough call.

Warren would absolutely dominate the TVC hands down, so if the rest of the TVC schools dont care about trophies and championships, then by all means invite the Warriors back.

You must be freaking crazy. Are you really serious about this comment? You need to go an look thru some of the history of the TVC schools vs Warren. There is no way shape or form they would blow out the TVC. Belpre is normally very competitive with Warren in Football, definatly wrestling, and baseball. Now basketball Warren has dominated the series. Saying that there are schools in the TVC that are definatly better than Belpre in these sports. So your comments are way off the wall.
As a SEOP staff members I would think your comments would be more on target than those you just spouted off.

I think those of you in the SEOAL are a bit jealous the TVC is growing and you all are going to the way side. The TVC has a plan and the SEOAL does not and other schools are seeing this thus the changes.

I know Nelsonville-York has a winning record over Warren in football. Warren certainly did not dominate football when they were in the TVC prior. Nelsonville-York and Belpre dominated football back then.

I see one outright championship for Warren, and one co-championship. I see Belpre and NY all over that list. I even see Trimble's name three times - one more time than Warren, and Trimble did not join the TVC until 1978.
