Re: OVC River Valley (0-6) @ Fairland (4-2)
They havent really thrown the ball too much all year but it seems like it because everytime they do it goes for a touchdown or a big gain.....Fairlands running game is very good this season....not particulary any power backs but tons of speed,go dragons!!!!
Re: OVC River Valley (0-6) @ Fairland (4-2)
Guys every opponent has to be taken seriously,I doubt that River Valleys' kids are just going to step aside and let us beat them 100-0! We have to work just as hard in practice as we would preparing for anyone else!

Good points, earp.
RV has some talented kids. They are a very small team, but they can make you pay if you're sloppy. They got decent penetration on SP's o-line in the first half, they just couldn't finish making tackles.
They don't have an offensive identity. They let SP's defense dictate what they did on offense instead of trying to attack it. They need to go out and play with reckless abandon and the coaching staff needs to play-call with reckless abandon. That's the only way they stand a remote shot of keeping the score down in this one.

Yupp I know.... I mean look at what happened to fairlands basketball team last year, they could have won or at least tied for the ovc last year.. But RV played harder and beat us twice bc we over looked them.

River Valley is -11 in the turnover ratio (-10 against teams with winning records).
Gonna have to clean that up on friday, Raiders!
Commit to try to run the football and hold onto the football while running. Lets keep it simple; back to basics.
Keep fighting, Raiders!

Actually, Cheshire River Valley was 1-5 coming into this game officially, although they were 0-6 on the field. The reason for this is because they were awarded a win over Minford in Week 1 due to Minford being forced to forfeit the game.

Thanks for the score and why did Minford have to forfeit the game?

they played a 5th string lineman, when they were up 35-0.. and the AD did not have proper paper work filled out. they just tried to get everyone in the game and get this.....
