If 105.5 is covering the game, they have an online feed. Typically the broadcaster posts a link in the game thread at some point during the week.

Now that we're actually playing schools that are the same size as us again, I look for the Spartans to get the victory. Alexander needs to forget about last week. A school the size of Athens shouldn't even be in our league to begin with. We have a great team this year and I look for us to take down the Buckeyes. It's obvious our coach is more intelligent than NY. So, given the talent we have this year, I'd say Arno beats Boston easily.

Alexander is much better this year, but I still think NY is HEADS AND SHOULDERS above the Spartans.

Wow seriously .... I'd like to know how is it so obvious your coach is more intelligent than ours???!? I'd like your opinion on why you feel this way ????

It is week 7 I dont think you can make the point that teams are still inexperienced.

Freshmen are not seen as freshmen anymore.

N-Y has played unbelievable football this year. But than again so has Alexander. I think both of their records are a little bit misleading when you see 6-0 and 5-1. However, you can't fault them for beating the teams on their schedule and cant fault them for the other teams not having as good of a year as they are.

Derek Arnold. Flip is initials around you get AD ALL DAY!!!!

I think you should have written, now that you are actually playing schools that are smaller than you again, cause that is what you have spent most of this season doing. Unioto is the same size, and Athens is bigger. Other than that you have played a host of D6 and D5 schools, who are smaller than you at D4. How is it obvious that Arno is more intelligent than Boston? Is it that fact that Boston has won the TVC Ohio all but one year and Arno has never won it? Or is it that Boston had better records when he was at Alexander than Arno has? Or is it both of those?

bigger school, better athletes, better coaching. If Alex doesnt win the coach should be fired on the spot. Talk about putting the pressure on your kids.

About the game. Alex is having one of their best season ever and are playing good football. But you are not playing a 3-3 4-2 Ny team. They are 6-0 and playing well also. Both teams are looking good. Alex has a key player sitting out. This may hurt them a little. Game is at Alex. This game has a lot of pressure on it. For NY, The 40 year streak, TVC Championship, Going to 7-0. For Alex They want to end a 40 year streak, Try and get back in the hunt for TVC, Any slip ups and no chance for a playoff game. Big game for Alex and NY. I will go with NY on this one. Just the History in this one.

Well he should, fire is dangerous especially in the weightroom.

^ Yes Alex replaced Trimble with Miller on the schedule. Arno told Phil that he needs to start scheduling teams he knows he can beat.

I heard the same thing. Meaning Alex dropped Trimble to play Miller. Dosent make much since. even in a down year Trimble will win 5 a really down year. I did hear that Arno told Phil that was the reason they were dropping them. As down as Trimble is this year that one got away from them late.

To be fair, when Boston was at Alexander they were in the Hocking Division. Arno has done the best job of anyone at Alexander since entering the Ohio.

No, Arno said, (and I am paraphrasing here), "sorry coach but I need to schedule some teams I know I can beat..."

Are some people trying to have it both ways now? Some are on here responding to others claiming Alex has a weak schedule saying, "Arno can only coach against the teams on his schedule..." Now couldn't the same be said about when Boston was there?

Yes it could be. But year in and year out alex was beating Wellston Belpre and Trimble when boston was there. They were dominating the teams in the Hocking and I think that was a big reason for them to jump to the Ohio. This is the first year Alex has won more that one ohio div game isnt it. They are doing well this year and a lot of credit goes to the Kids and coaches at alex While Ny has 6 league titles under boston.

Ol Sparty4Life-
We didn't hear any complaints before the game last week, and now that you lost you sound a little sore...plus, Athens isn't that much bigger than Alexander and will be only one division higher than them in the coming years when the new count takes place. Stop complaining about school size. Do you ever hear Nelsonville-York (Smallest TVC-Ohio Team) ever complain...

Also, as hard as it pains to say this with me being from Athens, the Boston Family has been phenomenal for the NY Football Program. Coach Boston Jr. has won a TVC-Ohio crown each year he has coached at NY (had the one taken away, but they still won it). So, the comparison of intelligence is in question. Arno, yes is the best football coach to grace Alexander's sidelines in a long while, and people in Alexander sound to be taking him for granted (on the radio show askin' for his head after 1 loss). Arno hasn't coached at Alexander long enough to be compared to Coach Boston, but you can expect that each Coach will have their team ready come Friday as each have down great jobs thus far this season...
