Like I didn't expect it?! I told eeryone exactly what would happen... and I was right. The Meigs"losing" comments came out as well. I don't really care, that's the point. Good luck to the players. I'm still fed up with the total disrespect that has been shown by many of you Buckeye posters all season, especially towards the Marauders after a game that you won. That is why I am doing this. Hopefully this loss humbles some of you posters who bash other teams constantly. Go ahead and start denying that now too. Don't waste forum space on me, I'm not worthy, almighty Buckeyes!

Thank god BlizzardMan humbled us all!!!!!!

Get over your self!!!!!
You just like to stir crap so you can say I told you so, but the fact is you have nothing to say because NY fans have been very classy for the most part all year.
Every team has a few fans who like to stir the pot so you can get upset about them but I don't think it is right to talk like we are all a bunch of loud mouths!!!!
You talk more trash about NY than anyone!! I am sorry that you hate our schools it's kids and it's fans!!!!!!!!!

Hey Blizz - bad field conditions were a fact of the game. Alex handled it, and we didn't. I see no harm in discussing it, and have nothing but praise/respect for where the Alexander program is heading. I'd much rather be nervous for an upcoming game than expect a 40-0 pasting. It makes the league better and will better prepare all that are fortunate enough to move on to the playoffs.

All schools have jerks on this site, Meigs included. Casting a shadow on a fan-base due to a few rabble rousers is misguided. I see no sour grapes from any Buckeye fans that rival what you've been posting.

Go Bucks!

Some people just try to start trouble on here. Alex flat out dominated the game. Buckeye fans know this. Sure its sad to see the streak end, but big deal. At least we will always remember the streak that took 38 years to break! Maybe Alex has turned around their program or maybe they are just having one good year. We will find out in the coming years. NY still has one streak.......Alex has never defeated NY in Nelsonville! :-D

Heck, even Miller has defeated NY twice. You didn't see the sky fall on Buckeye land those times did you?

Are more NY alums embarrassed or was Alex that good? As someone who has not seen the game a 6-0 NY team should not lose to Alex not matter what. Congrats to Alex... NY eat some humble pie and get back to work! That includes fans as well! Go Bucks!

I'm seem to recall that you 98'ers were a dropped punt in the endzone away from ending the streak in 95. This years version of the Spartans are a better team than that one, trust me. :122249

That was my senior year! Alex fans were going WILD thinking they had the game won and NY fans were stunned. Then a miracle happened. The dropped punt in the endzone and a Buckeye touchdown! Even though Alexander won the TVC Hocking that year, we didn't think it would be much of a game. We saved face and the streak continued!

I would have been better if the score was 34-28 but it wasn't.

Hey I predict this years NY Trimble game to be a 7-6 win for the bucks!! How about you The Man of Football?

First off, I don't hate anyone in this world. Secondly, I have no problem with the players. Kids are kids and these are dedicated kids. I also respect the tradition of the program. I have a pproblem with disrespectful arrogant posters on this sight. However, now that that I have one poster in particular that I think is a good honest poster onto me, I will hold my peace. Congrats to Alexander. As for some of the Buckeye fans, I will stop stirring the pot on your threads when you sttop stirring it on other threads.
I'm out.

I look for the Buckeyes to go to the next TVC meeting and ask to move into the Hocking division now that Alexander and Athens dominate the Ohio division. Just kidding!

For some reason I do not remember that game. That would have been my sophomore year. I only remember the '96 game where we had mostly Juniors and Sophomores and Alex had everyone back and we thumped them at Boston Field like 39-20.
