you people kill me, these are highschool kids playing a game, i give them all the respect in the world, they have to do conditioning all year long, practice everyday, play games on friday night and still maintain their grades, i think every kid that goes out and plays their heart out deserves respect, why dont you grow up and stop talking crap about a bunch of kids, oh or maybe you arent adults and just a bunch of kids, of course i hope and believe minford can win friday night but i have respect for both teams and the kids, coaches and parents that believe in them every day of their lives

Here we go, I knew this thread couldn't stay civil all week long. With some of the Minford "fans" that don't have a clue, of course I think every school has those on here, I just knew everyone couldn't behave all week. I think that this will be a great game between good teams and the winner has the inside track to that coveted golden football. And before it gets started the field will in no way cause one team to win or lose, I don't want this to be the burg/west game last year where if the field was dry we shoulda/coulda/woulda maybe won. Both teams pound the ball so wet field is fine, the only thing that will make a difference is ball security in the mud and I'm sure both coaches have preached that all week. This game is what high school football is all about, two conference teams fighting it out for local bragging rights and the chance to get some regional respect in the playoffs.
