I'm with you. I don't want to see a smaller crowd due to weather. I would love nothing more than to see 7,000+ going crazy all night long. Hope we see a classic high school football game tomorrow night.

7,000 isn't likely

Hopefully the hot chocolate stock is ample. Both concessions ran out last week in the 3rd qtr....I was offered hot cider as a replacement. I didn't feel very 1840's ish...so I just ate a stale pretzel.

The important stuff.

What's everyone's opinion on who the "wet" field will favor because we know it won't be muddy. Is it field turf, rubberized, what ? I came down for the Amanda-Clearcreek / Wheelersburg playoff game a couple years ago and it is fast when it's dry.

FANOSPORTS,

I doubt if a wet field will benefit one team more than the other. To answer your other question, it's officially the artificial field turf known as Pro Grass.

92,

You're probably right about not getting a Wellston-like attendance. I can hope though.

Yeah, doesn't look too promising. Hopefully everyone will ignore the rain and come to the game anyway.

Although, I think Jackson is a good team in its own right, a team that will make the playoffs...I think Ironton has something special this year...I take them 28-14...I will probably be close early on, but I think the fightin' tigers pull away later...

Nothing personal, but Ironton by a bunch. I have been reading that Portsmouth was Jackson's only "quality" win? Portsmouth? Whew!!

The local radio station just played Here Comes the Rain Again. lol Ozzy is right, they had two touch downs called back on penalties but that doesn't mean they would have won, but they could have. They really played a good game. People can say this team is bad or that team is bad but any team can win on any given night. All of our teams have up years and down years. The main thing is to get out there and support the kids .

That's true with friends on both sides. No matter who wins, it will be a good game. Also good luck with Warren. Your guys are a better team than they are given credit for, and I for one think you can take them in this game.

Let's try this again. it appears ironton has played a tougher schedule. What is the most quality win Ironton has had this season. It appears most posters think Jackson's quality win was Ptown.
