wellston is bad, barely beat vc and they only did because they had a vc kid. he is good.

jaylen had 5 carries for 40 yards and a td and caught a ball for 12 yards, and you think thats what beat v.c? wellston pulls a upset at ch jones field friday. look for jaylen in the back field this week.

Athens has pulled away from teams in the second half this year. Wellston has played better in the second half this year. They have played tough in most of their games. Wait and see on this one. Athens will be tough to beat.

Can't say I understand all of the "Athens... BIG" comments considering Wellston has given both Jackson and Minford close games. And Minford is coming off a huge victory against Wheelersburg. Sure, it's a different team each week, but I think that shows Wellston has some talent and comes to play.

With that said, I like Athens in this one.

athens has the ability to win this game, but if they don't come out focused and play hard for 4 quarters, this could turn into an upset. Adams will have the dogs prepared for this, its really all up to the players whether they want to go 7-0 or come out and lay an egg... what will make this more interesting is that athens plays best late in the 2nd and 4th quarters, which is also where wellston is at their best. this should be a close game, especially since its at wellston and will have wellston appropriate officiating

Dilligaf man, I know your still 'Bitter' about Eastern being Ranked Higher then your beloved Trimble squad...
Like I said its quite simple, I found a point system to score the rankings for the 'Power Poll'... a system that is not influenced by what the school name is, who coaches it, simple by plugging in numbers the school gets, getting the final tally and seeing the Highest Total-to the-Lowest Total...

Power Poll is the name, it isn't something people vote on because that would take out the bias factor...

In all, I was simply tryin' to add a little something to the football season by doing this, something that would be fun to see how it unravels as the weeks go on...

Again, its not intended to offend anyone, it is just something I thought of and gave it a try...maybe next year, the addition of voting can somehow be added, but keepin the Power Poll unbias is the most important thing I feel to keep it interesting...
