no matter either teams record,or how bad they got beat in previous games,I dont think you will see anyone from either school actualy give a 35 point spread in this game.

I don't know, I think you have to toss many things aside when you consider who's the favorite for this game. After the Wheelersburg/Portsmouth game, I figured Portsmouth would be just a bump in the road but look what they've done since?!

Consider they defeated an undefeated DIVISION 2 School last night!

Consider that Portsmouth always plays above themselves when they play the Tigers


The Tigers better have their A-game against Portsmouth Friday or Portsmouth will take one home with him them this year and love mocking Ironton as they go!

Ironton should win by about the same score they did last night, but I think Portsmouth will fight hard.
I'd be cool if these two met again in week 11, but I doubt it happens.

Portsmouth is playing their best right now and they always manage to bring their A game in against Ironton. I think The Tigers might have too many guns but it sure feels different now than it did after The Wheelersburg game. I don't think Wheelersburg has matched that game before or since and The Trojans have found their way after a good second half showing in the loss to Jackson. No prediction except I think it will be a good ballgame. Good luck to both.

PS : Despite 2 Losses I rate Ironton as a favorite in Region 15. We aren't there yet.

i agree Portsmouth must do EVERYTHING right. I think if we can put together long time consuming drives and keep Irontons offense off the field we have a good shot. We need to keep it close and put ourselves in a position to score at the end of the game. GO TROJANS!!!

i think this is shaping up to be a dandy game. we gotta put people away, when we get them down. but steadily improving everyweek. ironton is turnibg into a team you better not load up the box against now. and i love it. man, these 2 teams have played extremely hard schedules. possibly ironton's being somewhat tougher. and portsmouth has obviously turned the corner. lots of points up for grabs to the winner of this one.
