all joking aside, this is a great rival game,I always look forward to this game every year,noi matter the record of either team.

I think we all know year by year this game could go either way,no matter the records.

This year there is some extra in it for both teams,"more for the Tigers, they can psibly get a home game with a win,coach Lutz can tie the winningest record in high school.

Portsmouth could jump in the playoffs with a win, or possibly be bumped right out with a loss.


We all know as eveyone else does, the Trojans are heavy underdogs, does that mean they dont have a chance?, not to me,I have been watching the kids on this Trojan team for a long time and I know they are very capable of pullng the upset.

I feel like I gurantee one thing in this game, Ironton will not lose 7 turnovers like warren did. That's not knocking portsmouth just a fact. In a rivalry like this I think it will be close since both teams are obviously talented. I don't really have a dog in this fight so I'm not going to be too upset no matter who wins or loses. I just hope that one of these two teams can make a run this year. It would be nice if a D IV and D V team could both make a run out of southern ohio this year.
