You speak of playoff appearances as if it happened recently. Minford will be on their 3rd or 4th year in a row if they win out this year. When was VALLEY'S last playoff game and have they made it to the playoffs since joining the SOC II?

Personally, I'm proud as can be that Minford is attempting to make the playoffs for the third time in a four year period for the first time in school history (also three years in a row for the first time in school history, obviously). I'm also proud as can be that Valley and Wheelersburg have both played for a Regional Title in the last four years (not including this year). I'm also proud as can be that Waverly and West have both had playoff wins in the same time frame.
What it boils down to is we have five very competitive teams in this small-school league that year in and year out produces at least one team capable of making a run in the playoffs and many years produces multiple playoff teams.
I think we are all pretty fortunate.
