My Chicago trip got delayed 24 hrs due to illness [not mine] and weather. We are leaving early tomorrow morning, so I am here to do updates tonight after all. It has poured rain twice today - both early this morning, and again late afternoon - here in Ironton. Cincinnati got over 2 inches. The storm line was moving northwest to southeast with heavier areas more to the south. I don't know if Jackson got rained on, too, or if they were far enough north to have missed the brunt of it.

Jason just said on the pregame show that there had been heavy late afternoon rain in Jackson also - and all the way on the trip up Rt 93 [making for a lousy trip] - but it has stopped raining at present.
Ironton will be kicking and Jackson receiving to start this game - Ironton won the toss and deferred to the 2nd half.

The run that Keith Whetzel done on the fake punt was about as fine of a run as I've ever seen a high school kid give. It was great to watch. I only wished I had it on video to watch again

He only cheapshots them when they are not looking or not in the play it is way diferent. Helmet to a guys chin from the blind side in my book is a cheapshot.
