Re: Jackson (6-1, 3-1) at Chillicothe (1-6, 0-3)
I see the ironmen traveling to Chilli with a chip on their shoulders! Not because of last weeks game though, if you were at the 7 on 7 you'd know what I'm talking about.

Jackson comes out on top, the 7-7 chilli started chanting "D-Boys". This should call jackson's defense out. And possible get their first shut out of the year. I hope all the kids from jackson is healed up, i know there is a few kids really hurting by not showing pain, which is good but bad. Go and have a great game, Go Ironmen

Camnott, your right about the 7on7 it was krazy!!! Chillys db's were talking smack and doing alot of hitting, not to mention all the chanting, our boys came off the field with very mixed feelings...This fri. nite should be interesting...IMO our boys will be on track, the "D" will be sharp and ready....Jackson should score quick..42-10
Re: Jackson (6-1, 3-1) at Chillicothe (1-6, 0-3)
Sounds like the Ironmen are even more beat up than I knew. Hope that all the guys can get healthy this week. In a way, the playoffs do start this week for the Ironmen. To have a chance at the post-season, this is a must-win game for Jackson. Also, a win could set up a SEOAL Championship game with Logan in Week 9, with the Ironmen playing to gain at least a share of the league title.
Since the 7-on-7 in July, I have had this game circled on the calendar. I know that the Jackson team remembers that night and Coach Hall even mentioned it in his post-game interview last week. That situation has added even more fuel to Jackson's fire and I'm sure they will be ready to play on Friday night. If the Ironmen can continue to take care of the football (only 2 turnovers in 7 games) and cut out the penaltes, I think they'll get win #7.

chillicothe is not as weak as everyone is making them out to be. they have played a great schedule and it only gets tougher for the cavs. i see this game coming down to the wire and jackson will more and likely lose there last 3 games jacksons dream season is over starting this week the cavs sneak out a huge victory!
Re: Jackson (6-1, 3-1) at Chillicothe (1-6, 0-3)
heavyhitter,
Jackson's staff and team do not see Chillicothe as being weak. I can guarantee you that. The things that anyone says on here, from Jackson or not, don't reflect the beliefs of those who matter most, which are the coaches and players who will decide the game. The Ironmen take every opponent seriously and I'm sure that the Cavs have their full attention this week.

heavyhitter, I believe that if you look at jackson fans posts you will see that we don't think they're that week either. The Cavs have played a tuff schedule but because of the 7 on 7, I think the ironmen will play on all 8 cylinders this week.

Is this one of those games Jackson needs to win in order to make the playoffs?

Jackson is a 7-3 team this year, and that is a good season if it plays out this way for Coach Hall. It seems Coach Hall is on his way to getting Ironman Football back where it needs to be and once was. I never cared to much for JAckson Ironmen until Andy Hall was named Coach. Congrats to Andy and good luck getting into play-offs.
Re: Jackson (6-1, 3-1) at Chillicothe (1-6, 0-3)
Chillicothe has plenty of playmakers on both sides of the ball. Jackson will need to tackle well tomorrow night and keep those playmakers from getting huge chunks of yardage. On the other side of the ball, Jackson's O-line needs to play very well. The Ironmen need to get the running game going, control the clock, and wear down the Chillicothe defense. If they can run the ball successfully, the passing game will open up as the game goes along, and Jackson should be in good shape.
Good luck to the Ironmen. Keep the SEOAL title and playoff hopes alive with a win tomorrow night.
BEAT CHILLICOTHE!!!
