Re: Fairfield Christian @ Wellston
Was just watching FC beat up on Fayetteville on Lancaster TV station. They have a couple HUGE boys at DT. Looked somewhat slow. They looked decent as a team though.

old*rocket.....Wellston will NOT lose to Fairfield Christian.
No offense to the Knights, but I'll put a Joe Namath guarantee on this game.

1974Viking....Thank you for the kind words as always my friend.
Yea, a lot of the younger generation is probably asking about Joe Namath. But even that was before I was born. I really enjoy and appreciate the history of football, especially college and NFL, so I bet those who enjoy history as much as we do will understand.
Take care 1974Viking

Re: Fairfield Christian @ Wellston
Wellston should easily win this contest. I'm assuming the only reason this game was scheduled is because it is a late season non-league game and it's hard to find teams to play at this point in the season as a non-league game. I'd rather see Wellston vs. Grove City Christian.....that one might be a little more interesting to watch.

Schedule wont be a problem next year. We are back to 5 non-league games at the beginning of the season .The Rockets have
Jackson
Minford
Oak Hill
Fairland
They are currently looking for game 5.

Re: Fairfield Christian @ Wellston
No contest in this one. No offense to anyone but I don't care what the reasoning, there is no excuse for Wellston scheduling this game. This is about the same as playing Manchester. Don't beleive me? Do some research.

Youre Right southernstorm ,,,We will let you tell the seniors they only get to play 9 games

Re: Fairfield Christian @ Wellston
Nice try. I know for a fact that Wellston turned down games with more quality opponents in order to schedule FC. Quite convenient that it happens to be homecoming week at Wellston.

Amazing! You must have the ability to read minds. That has to be the case considering the fact that there is no way possible that you know who I got my info from.
