alot of mention to burgs midfield and controlling the midfield....burg does not have a midfield! they have they talent there, but they play from the defensive third to the the attacking third and completely skip the middle of the field. but that's not the boys fault in my opinion. as for winning balls and challenging zt for the ball...that's not burg's style either.

Wishing for an injury free game to both teams..... non league game for both so need to focus on a win win situation for both teams to work on tactics to prepare them for the tournament. Both teams should be happy to have a game like this to prepare them for the upcoming week ahead. Everyone wants a "W" at the end of the night but.....is a great chance for some good competition if used properly to benefit both squads. Zane Trace is and will probably always be a great team. They always show good sportsmanship and good talent, along with good coaching. Wheelersburg has proven that they can compete but have just struggled all season with playing possession style ball. They do need to win the ball in midfield and sure up the midfield control to be effective. At the end of the day.... it's all good....if it is a competitive, good soccer match. Both teams...... be safe and show us some good stuff!

Magic man..... Thanks for the nice support and confidence for Dillan (correct spelling) Lewis but I'm going to cheer on the entire team to seal the deal with a win. Definitely takes the entire "11" to get the job done. Nice to see kids scoring but even better when it is from a sweet assist to help find the back of the net. GO BURG!

should be interesting. if you look at the paper burg has very few assisted goals in "big "games. "the lone striker" needs some help from at least tonto; and maybe............silver?

I think Burg can definitely score on ZT.
The question is "Can Burg score more than ZT?"
I think the first half will be close w/ZT pulling away in the last 20 minutes of the game.

Falcon
That would be a bad assumtion. ZT played their starters the whole game. They even had their starting keeper back. He did not play against South Webster.

Lewis faired pretty well 2 goals and I believe an assist. Even set a while due to a little ankle soreness or probably would have proved Magic man right about the hat trick. And he has pretty good speed himself 5-1 is an impressive win for burg over a decent team. Good luck to both in the tournament

Looks like this question was answered with a resounding "YES! It is worth playing." At least from the Burg side.

ZT side may think differently unless it exposed a critical weakness that will protect them come tourney time.

Have to say hats off to Braxton Jarvis for playing an exceptional game yesterday. Probably the best game I have seen him play this year. He definitely does a fantastic job in defense. Also, Cole Miller played well as usual. He has been very consistent this year. He is a solid silent player. The first half, both players along with the rest of the midfield and defense, played the game like they did at the start of the season.
Also, Thanks to Brad White for many great saves. You've played well this year!
Congrats on the win!
