Pre Game Music
what are some favorite pre game music or music bein played right before the tip.
one of my fav although i'm unsure what the song is called. it's the song they play at the convo in athens before tip off of each game. it's the song where each cheer block is jumpin up and down

well...at clay we used to play music from 1920..just because the principal thought none of the music from the last 85 years was acceptable.

Ya gotta love "John Deere Green" & maybe some "I'm From the Country"! True warm-up songs at the nest!

you might be talking about 'zombie nation' or maybe 'jump around'

The theme music to the beginning of Jackass 2. It is called "O Fortuna" by Carl Off, though usually wrongly attributed to Mozart. It's a great song to play to introduce the team onto the court.

O Fortuna is great, we used to listen to it in the locker room before every football game. Each week the lights would go off that song would come on, and everone just went crazy.

Haha that's pretty awesome. We warm up to 'Space Jam' some 'Bad Moon Rising' and "Ain't no mountain high enough' and many many more
Re: Pre Game Music
one of the most difficult arenas for pregame music is Oak Hill. have been there several times with pep band music. the band is great but accousitics wear you out in about 5 minutes. have to laugh thinking about it.

Re: Pre Game Music
It's kinda like reverse psychology because that music we play whether its the band or it's our Cd's is the music that gets us ready for the game. We get pumped up whenever "Jack and Diane" comes on and "Glory Days" and many others. Sometimes even "The Car Wash"

Basketball is a hip hop sport, I could never get up to anything else. football is more of a rock sport.

BASKETBALL is more of a country, rock, hip hop, jazz, gospel, techno, contemporary, and classical sport
Re: Pre Game Music
Portsmouth Clay always seems to just play 1970's rock, but then you have to look at who is picking and playing the music. I think the boys would like something a little more modern.
