Pres is very knowledgeable about the game of softball. If he can get the girls to play some competitive summer ball and work at it in the off season (winter) he can start building a program. H 8) e has been around enough softball to know what it takes to compete. Good Luck!

Is coach Messer getting things organized there yet. Seen him and Knockoff in Columbus over
the weekend. He seems real excited about being in Minford.

West Sider & West Side Pride ,

Coach Messer is very excited to be at Minford with his knock off coach, and his other coaches. My guess is that the West and Minford game this year will be 2 good teams playing the same kind of softball, But with different SIGNS on what they our trying to do during the game. LOL Good Luck to the West girls & thier coaching staff on thier softball season this year.

I believe helping Preston this year will be John Griffith, thats what I've heard anyway. Either way John will have a big part in the return of Minford as a power. He has had a travel team based out of Minford for about 4 or more years now. Autumn Griffith will go down as one of Minford's best. Dare I say, "protype west power pitcher", Preston should feel right at home. Pretty good Jr. High program as well. Together they will have Minford back where it should be. They all say it starts with pitching, and once again they have one. Good Luck Minford.

Hiring Coach Messer is the best thing Minford has done for their softball program since Coach Daniels. He is there to build a program for Minford. Minford finally has a coach that knows softball, enjoys working with the girls and most of all has earned the respect of the girls. Good Luck Lady Falcons!!

I agree coach Messer is doing a great jod with the girls and Minford softball. I was at the game tonight against Coal Grove and the girls looked good, from what I seen coach Messer is very strict on the girls he seemed like he expects them to always be in the game and know what they need to do when they get the ball hit to them we haven't had a coach like him since coach Daniels so good luck girls it has been a joy watching the Minford Softball team this year.
