I picked burg to go 10-0. But honestly they aren't very good this year. Give valley some chance in this game, actually they should prob be the favorite. But Little vegas says burg minus 10. lol ...jk??

Just because it is on the radio doesn't always mean it is on the internet. That happened a few years ago when Burg was playing Waverly. I was out of town and was looking forward to listening to the Burg on the web and when I logged on and got it up and running I hear "welcome to Mohawk stadium where NW will be taking on Minford tonight." I was screaming at the computer. LOL

Ended up getting the updates from my wife via the cellphone.

I've talked alot of smack this week (wich I will admit, was at times out of bounds  ) but I hope for an injury free ballgame that fans and players alike will enjoy. I think that Wheelersburg has the psychological advantage, and the home field advantage, which are huge in big games like this. With that said I believe that Valley may have the athletic and confidence advantage as they roll in off a huge win last week, which is also huge in big games like this. I do believe Wheelersburg will win this game, but hey I also thought that West would win last week so.......Good Luck and Good Health to both teams.

Burg #1
Thanks for the kind words about Brice... he's great kid, and as tough as it gets and he's recovering from his surgery just fine. As a matter of fact, he went bow hunting the day he got home from the hospital. He'll be tough to keep down for very long.

I have to agree with those who say Valley is the underdog. Of course they are, the game is being played at Wheelersburg. The way the refs officiate there, St. Iggy would be an underdog. I recall when Newark Catholic was playing at Burg. NC was down on the goal line setting up for the win, the ball clearly crossed the goal line and the refs did not award a touchdown to NC, changing the outcome of the game to a burg win. And as for the playoff game in Athens everyone keeps referring to get over it Burg, the coach for the opposing team was a close personal friend of Coach Crabtree's.

Someone had said earlier that WNXT is doing NW-West game tonight. I thought they said this morning they were doing the Burg-Valley game.

Coop, just because it is on the radio doesn't mean it is on the net. See my post on the page before this.
