SEOAL Championship (7-1, 4-1) Jackson @ (8-0, 4-0) Logan

I'll be rooting for Jackson but I think it's gonna get ugly fast in favor of Logan.

Good Luck Ironmen. I think you were the last SEOAL team to beat the Chiefs.I would like to see the upset here myself.

I'll take a 16 point win over a 6-1 (now 6-2) team in DII any day. I have a feeling that if Dale hadn't taken his foot of the gas pedal in the middle of the third it would have been 40+ to 7. It is a point of concern that Logan can't go off on teams in the first half though.
Looking forward to this weekend with a resurgent Jackson team ready to take on Logan. This rivalry has suffered of late with Jackson down and the teams not playing for two years, but this should be a good chapter in the story. Logan still wins though, by about 28.

I have to say that Warren played toe to toe with Logan for the majority of the game. Very possibly having a slight edge in time of possession, 0-0 1st qtr, 10-0 at the half, scored on Logan to make it 10-7 (from Gridiron Glory the first TD on the number one defense in 31 qtrs), when Logan got the ball it was obvious that the Chieftans coaches made some half time adjustments, that, with Warren's deep secondary taking some plays off letting the Logan receivers run free, proved that Logan was the better team. But if Logan fans are completly honest this was a hard fought game, with some great plays and solid hitting on both sides. Warren played their best but that was not good enough to garner a win, the two D-ends 26 Rohr and 86 Fivecoaite gave Angle fits most of the game. Spoke with a Logan guy, who said that Logan practices on the turf, never on grass and it shows, Logan was not fully ready for a wet, muddy field. Slipping/sliding/mis-handling the ball, did help the Warren cause. But you have to play on the field presented.
That being said Logan is going to be the un-disputed League champs next friday. Angle and company on turf will run/pass on Jackson.
Logan 43 Jackson 17

I could be wrong...but I do believe Ironton scored against them? I'm almost sure it was 7-0 Ironton at halftime? I'd imagine that would mean they'd have to have scored against the number one's.

If Jackson has a chance they must keep Logan's offense off the field.
JMO-- I don't see this happening(as much as I would love too)... Logan rolls on to a victory!!!!!

Jackson has had a nice run so far, but Logan takes this one 42-14. Sorry, Jackson, but Logan has too much to handle.

Ah, finally, a rivalry I can get behind! The old timers can have Ironton, but I'll stick with Logan - Jackson... and do so with civility ;) Personally, I wouldn't be surprised to see an upset from the Ironmen this week, though I certainly hope that isn't the case. I wasn't very impressed with Jackson's D when I watched their game with Marietta on NexTV Sports, but if they can outpace Logan's DBacks they'll be more than able to score with a ratio equal to or greater than the Chieftains.
As for Logan, they absolutely need to get clicking on the offense earlier than they have been the past few weeks. If the Chiefs come out like they did in the first halves of the Lancaster or Picktown games they will greatly reduce the morale of the Ironmen going into the half. Pass rush and pass coverage will be the modus operandi for the victor this week. I would expect to see a 7 point margin for the victory, but wouldn't be shocked at all if it were 3 or less.
Good luck to both teams, stay injury free and gooooooo Chiefs!

This match- up won't be close. Logan will blow Jackson off the field in prepping for the playoffs. Look for lots of subs the 2nd half as Logan tries to keep everyone injury free to prep for that run.

logan 38
jackson 14
Logan comes out and dominate this game i think defense scores a touchdown and angle throws for 300 and 2 or 3 touchdown passes

An upset by Jackson would be enough computer points to about guarantee a home playoff game.....even with losing to Zville.

According to Joe Eitel, Jackson is one of only three teams in Region 12 that controls its own destiny. Two VERY tough games left, but it's nice to know that Jackson's playoff chances don't hinge on anyone else's performance.

I'm not sure what this means. Did you mean to post that on the GAHS-Zanesville thread?
Re: SEOAL Championship (7-1, 4-1) Jackson @ (8-0, 4-0) Logan
I think he's givin' ya a tip for when you play Zanesville in Week 10. Put pressure on their QB and you'll get the W b/c he'll fold.
