West will run the ball to the short side of the field ALL NIGHT LONG, just like every other game!!!

West could lose this game. Here's why.

1) No discipline on either side of the ball.
way too many offsides and false starts
2) Can't get lined up in the proper formations.
3) Run defense is soft in the middle.
4) Pass defense soft all over.
5) Will burn all of their timeouts with 8:00 min. left in the 3rd.
6)Penalties stall every long drive.
and etc.......

Correct this and they could be a good team.
If not. Northwest could and should beat them

I think the reason the secondary is having problems is because the scout offense runs the ball every play.

that's actually part of it. If you face something all the time, you get better at it. But they do practice with the DB's alot. I just don't think they have confidence on the field. They play passive. They have chances to make plays but are timid and a little slow reacting. They'll get better. They've only got 1 senior in the rotation, with 2 of them sophomores. They'll get better.

Not hate. Just stating what I see as MAJOR issues with this team. It's week 7, the young excuse is no longer valid

SSU grad Northwest is even worse at penalties than west and now with the loss of Tyson Brown who will stop Pendleton from running right down the field every carry.

I think this week we need to let ractliff run the show at the line from shotgun calling audibles and reading what the defense gives him.Go 4-5 wide set pendleton as the one back and let ractliff call plays and make adjustments. The kid is an A honor roll student and a gifted athlete and by spreading the field and getting other athletes involved the holes get bigger for the backs.I think with quick passes outs, slants, and pop passes our line will be able to sustain a block. With a few completions they have to start respecting and it also helps with confidence on both sides of the ball.

I thought West's QB threw the ball extremely well. I don't understand why West doesn't throw more.

Should be a good game for both squads. Both teams working to salvage what's left of their season, neither of which turned out as hoped. Both teams have games in week #10 which they need to win to build on next years season. I look for West to win, but the Mohawks will "show up" and play solid football.

Tyson,

Hope you are doing well. Sometimes life just sucks. Get yourself fixed up, get through therapy and get back in the weight room. Your shot at college ball is still there. Good Luck Kid!

Mohawks,

Work hard this week in practice and play hard Friday night! Week #10 awaits! You have nothing to lose! This is all about getting this program better each year!! You have already accomplished that! Week #10 is "icing on the cake"!!

GO MOHAWKS!!

Play action pass! Mix it up, don't wait until we have to pass. I have alot of respect for our coaching staff, but our play calling is horrible. Why on earth is #2 not starting at one of the corners? Not all of the db's are playing bad, its the same ones every week. Film don't lie.

I wish both teams good luck, hope for an injury free game. The games this year have had way to many boys getting hurt.

I feel that west will come out on top of this one.

NW,

I hope that the Brown kids has a speedy recovery.

GOOD LUCK BOTH TEAMS
