SEOAL Schedule for 2010

Post by Auburntgrfan »

Will the SEOAL go to round robin and everyone will play each other in 2010?
We have Warren, Gallia, Jackson, Ironton, Portsmouth, Chilli, Logan, Marietta. Seven team round robin would fit all schedules.

7072 -

Yes, the league goes round robin in 2010. I don't know the whole league schedule, but here is Logan's 2010 schedule:

Aug. 27 - VS Lancaster
Sept. 3 - AT Pickerington North
Sept. 10 - VS Hamilton Township
Sept. 17 - AT Jackson *
Sept. 24 - AT Marietta *
Oct. 1 - VS Gallia Academy *
Oct. 8 - VS Warren *
Oct. 15 - AT Zanesville
Oct. 22 - AT Portsmouth *
Oct. 29 - VS Chillicothe *

I believe the League is going back to a "Week 10 Rivalry Week" format that will match-up GAHS/Jackson, Warren/Marietta, Logan/Chillicothe with Portsmouth having the bye, presumably to allow for Ironton/Portsmouth in Week 10.

Wow, week 10 is going to be exciting in southeastern Ohio in the future!! The TVC OHIO will also have a "Week 10 Rivalry Week" starting in 2010:

Athens vs. Nelsonville-York
Wellston vs. Vinton County
Alexander vs. Meigs

I'm not sure on the TVC Hocking schedule, but I know Belpre will play Waterford Week 10, which will probably become a big rivalry in Washington County.

Well I have to say I'm glad they brought back the rival game the last week. You couldn't end the year with a better game then the Marrietta vs Warren game. Here is Warren's 2010 schedule according to the school's web site.

08/27/10 BELPRE 7:30PM
Fri 09/03/10 MORGAN 7:30PM
Fri 09/10/10 @ ATHENS 7:30PM
Fri 09/17/10 @ PORTSMOUTH 7:30PM
Fri 09/24/10 @ JACKSON 7:30PM
Fri 10/01/10 PARKERSBURG SOUTH 7:30PM
Fri 10/08/10 LOGAN 7:30PM
Fri 10/15/10 @ CHILLICOTHE 7:30PM
Fri 10/22/10 GALLIA ACADEMY 7:30PM
Fri 10/29/10 MARIETTA 7:30PM

Rumor is the Trojans will open next season with Wilmington. If this is the case with the round robin format I wonder which rival the Trojans will drop (West or Burg). I would rather drop Wilington than West or Burg. The Trojans will have the toughest out of conference schedule with West, Burg, and Ironton WOW.

Trojan -

Portsmouth should still have non-league games in weeks 2, 3, and 10. I would think their non-league schedule would be Wilmington, West, 'Burg, and then Ironton week 10, but don't have any solid info. But the league games would be weeks 4-10 (with one bye in their, each team would have a buy over those weeks).

Your right Locos, I don't know what I was thinking. Portsmouth's non-league games next year are Wilmingnton(D2), West, Burg, and Ironton from what I've heard. That's a really tough non league schedule and on top of that the league schedule is tough enough.
