Wheelersburg (7-2) vs. Portsmouth West (6-3)
Re: Wheelersburg (7-2) vs. Portsmouth West (6-3)
IMO, does not make sense to me that West would change their entire offensive scheme for one game. If thats the case, they must not have much confidence in moving the football with what they've been doing in the last 9 games.

This is for Minfordmamma. I know for a fact that Minford played several older kids than
freshmen, because he made sure it was OK with West before the game.
Put that in your pipe.....and smoke it!!!!

Very interesting, I have been wondering if and when a scioto county team would bring the wildcat into the mix. I'll be curious to see how this goes for the siders.

Who knows it may not be the #5 or #8 taking the snaps tonight? Just have to wait and see what Coach "T" has a store for us tonight>>>>>>>>>>>>

Relax folks there is only a couple wildcat plays that has been put in. Also a good
chance that not even one will be ran, unless, possibly overtime, or badly needing
a first with 1 or 2 yards to go!

I was thinking the same thing and if it is that good, makes one wonder why it wasn't implemented in game one ??

It's hard to tell no one has played the same position all year on offense but why change the qb. When all year our secondary has gotten smoked and after 9 weeks of that still no changes. Sounds like to me he has his favorites.

Wow, pretty confident that if you ran the wildcat it would go for positive yardage.
Man, I watched the Dolphins run it several times a few weeks back and they got stuffed for a loss on more than one occasion, but who am I kidding, this is the Siders.

You are right Big Stick that would be another twist to the "WILDCAT" with Murphy. I think that was run at Morehead State when Parkes played there. Coach T loves it from what I hear, but you see the T formation with powers and leads as well. It is going to be fun watching this tonight. It may be the first time Scioto County teams have run this. Big Stick meet in at the concession stand end along the fence behind the Goal Post. I owe you a slice of Pizza and a coke.Go Sider win it on the field and after the game as well.
You actually expect an offense that has just been put in this week to "work to perfection"? You must be delusional. Not even offenses that have been ran all year work to perfection.
Just what does that second comment mean? Is West going back to their old ways and starting fights after games? I thought things were supposed to have changed on the West Side with this new coaching staff. I guess the more things change, the more they stay the same. Still the same old West.

Great. Read a quote from a fan that you don't know and come to a conclusion on what a team is going to do. You must be Minfordmomma's husband.

sounds like your friend or relation doesn't play enough. Except for 1 corner (Thompson), the secondary is completely different from the one that started early in the year. I would like to see Journey play some corner, but other than that they really have no where to go but play what they've got and get experience.

I heard burg is putting 11 men in the box tonight, any truth to that?

I read it the same way BurgGrad did and therefore edited the part in question.

Craigmiles was heads above Pendleton tonight and if they had used him all year like they did in the past 4 games he would led the area in rushing hands downs. He had to have close to 150 yards tonight and I doubt Pendleton even got close to 100 and probably with twice the carries Tyler had.
Congrats to the Pirates on the big win tonight and hopefully that will put in the playoffs.
