Grillo and Grigsby were both out with flu Friday. N-Y outplayed the Vikings for sure, but the Vikes did NOT QUIT at any time.

I saw a lot lof N-Y varsity guys still playing in the 4th Q. Oh, by the way, the Buckeyes had 32 points at the half and still had 32 at the end of the game. They were shut out in the 2nd half and NOT because they were being kind to the Vikings.

I thought I heard the cannon go off in the second half when the Buckeyes got a first down, but I could be mistaken. You gotta do what you gotta do I guess. LOL

I think they were being kind to the Vikings. That is why I saw a Senior guard at fullback and another kid who didnt play all year at tailback when they got in the red zone. They also had a lot of sophmores and I know a freshman in at linebacker the whole 4th quarter. And the freshman offense in at the end of the game. I watched this game several time on the cable. It was very apparent they called the dogs off. I know they didnt throw the ball in the second half and with all 11 vinton players 5 yards off the ball they could have passed all night. No need in running it up.

I guess they would seeing as every school in the county is in the TVC and that makes up 25% of the conference as a whole.

That's true but until recently NY and Trimble have been the only two teams to consistantly win their respective divisions. Hence my comment about Athens County Teams.
