Where did you find the Martins Ferry vs St. C score I look everywhere for that score. The only weak point about Coshocton is that they don't have very good guard play and they only go 7 deep

Zero is a nice shooter. Plus Mason and Griffith are so physical.
Re: Eastern District Teams/Records
They have a real nice inside game, with those strong football players
Re: Eastern District Teams/Records
I think in D-3 Newcomerstown and Ridgewood are much better then there records show, Newcomerstown only lost to B.Trail 67-65 at Trail, and Ridgewood has lost four games by 4 points or less, back in December Ridgewood took my Hawks to o.t.before the Hawks won by 3
Re: Eastern District Teams/Records
Knew someone that went to the game. Weekend games are tough to find scores on.Hawks1112 wrote:Where did you find the Martins Ferry vs St. C score I look everywhere for that score. The only weak point about Coshocton is that they don't have very good guard play and they only go 7 deep
Thanks for the record updates. Any games down here on the river you need, let me know and I'll try to help.
Re: Eastern District Teams/Records
Thanks for the info and help I really appreciate it, I have web subscription to the Ferry paper, steubenville paper, Cambridge paper, Marietta paper, Wheeling W.va. paper. Thought for sure the M.Ferry paper would have the score of that game. By far the worst teams to find scores on are Beallsville and Bellaire St John's
Re: Eastern District Teams/Records
You got that right about Beallsville ,they are really really bad this year,I think they start about all freshman
Re: Eastern District Teams/Records
I meant worse to get scores but yes they struggle lol.
Honestly IMO, the east district is way down compared to last year across D3 and D4 especially.

Martins Ferry thoughts on Martins Ferry? Best thing on that resume is a close lose to Steubenville
Re: Eastern District Teams/Records
I keep missing seeing them and I'll miss them again tomorrow night against Shadyside.EasternDspy wrote:Martins Ferry thoughts on Martins Ferry? Best thing on that resume is a close lose to Steubenville
They seem legit. Not sure they are an offensive juggernaut, but are playing some lockdown D.
St C didn't have a field goal in the 2nd half until there was 22 seconds left in the game.
They have good size and are athletic. I didn't see this coming after they lost some good talent last year.
Re: Eastern District Teams/Records
Do they have a very deep bench, when you mean good size how big are they. The game I will interested in is when they play River at River. I know my Hawks beat River the second game of the season at Hiland, and sure it will be different if or when ,we might meet in the district. All I know is that I want to stay from Garaway as long as we can, they seem to have our number the last two years
Re: Eastern District Teams/Records
Not sure how deep they are. Selby is 6'5". Good athlete.
I remember some other kids 6'2"- 6'3". Lead guard is small from what I remember. Without seeing them yet this year I'm not sure.
I agree the River game will be interesting.
I don't think anyone has the size that teams had last year unless Garaway fits that bill with Honigford plus someone else.

Re: Eastern District Teams/Records
Yes Honingford is playing of course he had his best of the year against Hiland with a double double, there not near as big as they were last year, Honingford is about 6'7", or 6'8" and goes 250 or a little bigger they do have very good guard play especially the Hampshire boy is really good.
Re: Eastern District Teams/Records
Voting will be interesting. There is a clear top 5 of
MF
Hiland
River
FF
Garaway.
Garaway doesn't have the record, but they will get respect from past efforts.

River vs Ferry is huge for sending. What key wins does River have?Fort Frye has played a nice non league schedule
