Ridgewood just picked off a Freddie pass with 2:21 left. A first down and this is over.

Congrats to Ridgewood from a Minford Falcon fan on your victory over Fredericktown. Good luck at State.

RW definitely deserves this win and not taking anything away from them but what could have been for OH.

I hope you all enjoyed the game at Johnstown. If anyone has any suggestions as to how they can make it better in the future let me know. This is the first playoff game they have hosted! Good luck to Ridgewood and great season for the Freddies!

location of this game is unexcusable. Not big enough period. Locker Rooms were atrocious. couldnt even have all the kids in lockeroom to dress had to go to the school to dress. Not enough seating, restrooms or parking. People were great in my opinion. To top it off worst field turf I have ever been on, it is comparable to the carpet people buy and put out in front of their campers. Ridiculous for a regional final in my opinion.

Class Post. At least the Wood is still playing.

I agree about the location. Just too small of a place with inadequate facilities.

Hopefully the upgrades to the stadium next season will happen, which will take care of some of the things that concern you! I thought Rwood went to the cafeteria to meet, not to get dressed, but there was a locker room in the school also. Hopefully the community can get a new school built soon, which would make a big difference. I went to the game at NY and the crowd was about double what it seemed like at the Freddies/Wheelersburg game, Johnstown's seating capacity is over 4000 and there was a lot of standing/hill room. As far as the turf goes it is the same turf that OSU has, but there has been problems with the ground underneath it causing a couple of low/soft spots, but still better than any grass field at this point in the season. I thought the company was supposed to come and fix it last summer, but they didn't, it's only two years old. Parking wasn't too bad, they tried to keep cars off of the practice field, but filled the whole field up. Thanks to everyone who came, both crowds were great! Johnstown will look to improve for next year!

There was over 5,000 people at the game, It is a fine stadium, just not big enough to handle that size crowd.

One good thing about the seating is having both bands able to sit in the end zone and I think they allowed the students to go sit with the bands as well. They are supposed to make the hills on the home side better for seating and even do something neat with it, but I am not sure of the details. Hopefully next season their will be less complaints, but this was the most neutral location to play on turf for both teams. Just a question, would either team rather have traveled further to play in a little bigger stadium with a little better facilities?

Agreed. Come on fuzzhead, show some class from Lawrence County instead of showing its redneck side.

Ok. . . would you prefer any of the following:

RIP Ridgewood

Ridgewood's season ends next weekend

Ridgewood is going to get absolutely slain

There's a snowball's chance in hades the Ridgewood will win

If you think Ridgewood is going to win this game, you're a few cans short of a six-pack.

. . . I can keep this up all day long. . .

But would you if Coal Grove had not got dusted, or Oak Hill, or Minford, or Wheelersburg had won it.
