Yet another congratulations in is order for Mr. Angle, last night while watching the HS show with JJ and Jerry on ONN Patrick was the Big Man On Campus player highlighted by the program. They did a quick little piece on him and talked about how he did't yet have any great offers but that some coach at some program was going to get a great player.

An observation that I had never considered. There could be something to it But........how about all the Columbus and other central Ohio players who go to OSU and make it?

Yes but look at all of the younger players names you see in the paper or on the news every spring getting into trouble while out with their friends who aren't in the program. I don't mean to imply that all kids can't handle the situation, it seems to me that it happens to a lot more local kids at every school then in does to kids who are from further away that use the football team to fill the supportive roles of friends and family.

There are also players from afar who get into trouble. I would think his upbringing would have more to do with it than where he lived.

if he did go to OU, i hope frank wouldn't waste him on the bench. but, if he did start some day. OU would get a new/bigger fan base. ;-)
