With the change in coaches (Copley to Shoemaker) and the loss of the teams leaders over the past 3 years (Smith, Price, etc.), what will this years falcons look like.

The SOC2 will be brutal this year.

Who will step up for the falcons?

What are the expectations for this years team?

i look for the falcons to be down this year but still tuff they have alot of young talent coming up and more to come so i wouldnt over look the falcons in the next few years

I'm more of a football man, but I do know that the Falcons work hard. They could upset some people. I just don't know what everyone else has got. I'd like to see them make a run for the conference. What's the likelihood?

The team looked lost against Wellston (but Sloan did not play).

Still too early to tell how this team is going to be. Alot of new faces on the Falcon varsity team this year. I love to see John Strickland still helping, that is a huge asset for a new coach.

Three head coaches for Minford, Shoemaker, and former heads now asst Strickland and Copley. Wow, now that is a coaching staff! No player over 6-2, I look for this year to be a struggle. I'll say 11-9.
The SOC is stacked, These teams are loaded: Valley, Oak Hill, NW and Burg. That right there could be 8 losses.

Minford will be in the middle of the pack. Slone has looked good in a couple of their scrimmages and the kids play hard for Shoe and the guys. 10-10 will be a good year. Lets go Falcons!

The Falcons have the talent to upset anyone on any night. I wouldn't sleep on them this year, only time will tell.
