Most teams have to more than play their game if they want to hang with Alex. Should be a good match as Valley has a very good record and the defending Division 3 State Champs played some very good teams from the north this year.

Well i thought this would be a better match but obviously Alexander knew where Valley's weakness was and went straight for it. congratulations to the Spartans of Alexander maybe Wheelersburg can do something. Valley beat them twice and Wheelersburg beat the number 10 team in the state North Adams and Valley beat them also, says alot about rankings doesnt it, neither burg nor valley were ranked and valley beat both teams. Anyway Valley did not play the way they were capable of playing and they know it.

congrats to valley on an excellent year...unfortunately for valley...they saw probably the best team (and defense) they had faced all year in alex...they were quickly "stunned" and had no answer for alex and their team play...

i agree jumparound...north adams had no business being ranked...record means nothing (especially when the record is from a very, very, very weak schedule)...

as i said earlier alex took advantage of valleys weak back row defense early and often and when you cant pass you cant do anything else. everyone was scrambling just to save something, the setter was worn out. burgs back row is scrappy and athletic but i will take the spartans in 4 just a little to much firepower from different hitters.
