Gravely hasnt shown all that much promise this year,
as far as i saw him. he's dissapointed me so far.
warren has come out and just suprised everyone.

best of luck to everyone.

Gravely lost to Rohr 5-4 it could have went either way Rohr came out on top I am interested why they have'nt put Rohr on him again they both need the tough matches

there really hasnt been an oppurtunity for those two to match up again.
yeah it could have went either way, but all bets were on gravely,
and how spectacular he was, not putting the kid down, i'm just
saying people need to look at every wrestler before betting on one.

oppurtunity was at burt builders tourney. you guys had us beat didn't matter if rohr and gravely wrestle, you would have still won. as far as betting on one, you guys had a couple lose that day that you did'nt expect either

After watching Gallia wrestle tonite at Point Pleasant I wouldnt say they would win the SEOAL. They just better be glad Point and Athens are not in the SEOAL anymore. If Gallia does win the SEOAL this just shows how weak that conferance is. I believe Gallia won 3 matches against Point & Warren local won 1 match. Athens and Point had a good dual as Point edged Athens 34-33.

First of all I am not calling the league weak. However Belpre beat Gallia head to head with all the forfeits Belpre gives up. Seriously when I saw Belpre wrestle Gallia it was mat slap happy for Belpre. Now maybe Gallia just had a bad day or maybe they were missing tons of kids but Belpre just ran away with it against Gallia.
Secondly, I saw Gallia and Warren head to head at Burt Builders and Warren pretty much took Gallia to the shed. I don't see how everyone on here thinks Gallia is all that and will win the league. I just don't see that. Warren should be the favorites by far.
I don't think Belpre will even win the TVC this year. With Athens and NY looking strong Belpre is at best is (big Maybe) 2nd but more realistic 3rd in the TVC. If that is the case and Gallia got beat by Belpre and everyone thinks Gallia is going to win their league then that isn't saying to much. Again I think Warren is the walk away League Champs in the SEOAL by far. Again only my observation and opinions.

You always have to watch Gallipolis.
In Wrestling, and track Gallia doesn't always put the best team out there until the league meet.

We were hoping to wrestle Belpre again but since you guys lost to Meadowbrook and we beat them to move onto the finals I guess it was'nt in the cards

I rarely have agreed with otterslide on his opinions but have to side with him, to a degree.

If any team is using Belpre or Gallia as a measuring stick of how successful they are going to be this year, they are selling themselves short.

If this thread is just turning to a hack on Gallia, well then, I guess the hack has been served back to Belpre. Either way, it's likely just mainly "adults" on here, the kids are the one's that will have to pick it up on both sides. Good luck.

Come time for the league meet [SEOAL] Logan will have been going up against a lot of the big boys from the central part of Ohio and they should have all their classes full.
With the TVC --Athens is in a class by themselves and even the southeastern part of Ohio. The Bulldog also get into meets with some of the big boys and always hold their own. This is another sport championship for Athens in the TVC--The TVC will be wanting someone else winning all their championships in a few years.

Marietta and Logan will be very good bracket teams.

Helber could win himself a league title by picking the right format for the tournament.

Logan's A team won over Marietta Monday night 69/18.Logan made a lot of changes in their line up to take on Vinton County and came out on the short end 36/29.

With the Athens/Belpre meet cancelled the Chiefs travel to Warren next Wednesday to go in a tri meet--Jackson/Logan/Warren

The winner of Logan and Warren should be a good indication of who will win the league. I believe these are the top two teams..

Heard that Athens and Point Pleasant handed Warren their first two losses of the year. Anyone got any scoop on this. Was it close?

No, I heard it wasn't close with PP, Warren won 1 or 2 matches.
