Turn arounds from a 1-9 season can happen if you have kids that beleive and the right coach in place. Good Luck in your search for the right coach.

It really depends on the kids. There was alot of disappointing factors this season. The up coming senior class needs to step up big time. The Quarterback situation for next year will be interesting. The main thing of finding a O-line to block and D-line to make tackles. The receiving core should be good, the running back you are returning a starter with experience. The Dbacks better learn to cover alot better than this year. The key will be to believe in their coach and in themselves.

Resigned/retired... 30+ years of coaching and teaching, health issues were also cited in the Chilly Gazette following the week 10 game.

I think they should seek a young energetic coach. Discipline is needed within the program big time. At the same time it doesn't need to be like the Marines. The new coach should still allow the kids to have fun, play fast, and compete. Those are what all good teams do.
In the end, whether the team is successful or not depends on the attitude of the kids, how they develop, and if they can get some of their buddies to come out and play. It is hard to be successful if you only have about 35 kids as they did last year.
