The Coal Grove Youth League will be holding a 1st and 2nd grade boys/girls all-star basketball tournament February 20-21.

Teams can consist of either boys, girls, or both boys and girls. Entry fee is $100. If interested, contact Steve Dillow @ 740-534-3857 (c) or 740-867-4669 (h).

This will be a true, double elimination tournament.

South Webster 5th and 6th Grade Boys and Girls Tournament is cancelled!

I'm very sorry to have to announce this, but due to lack of team entries we will not be able to hold the 5th/6th Boys and Girls Tournament.

All teams that sent their fees in, they are being mailed back tomorrow. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I wish we could have had this tournament. Maybe in the future we will be able to one for the 5th and 6th Graders.

The 3rd/4th Grade Boys and Girls Tournament is still on schedule as of right now.

Lucasville Girls Biddy Basketball Tournament

3/4 Grade girls on Feb. 15th thru Feb. 21st

Cost: $75 before Feb. 8th, $100.00 after Feb. 8th

Location: Valley Elementary School

5/6 Grade girls on Mar. 1st thru Mar. 7th

Cost: $75 before Feb. 22, $100.00 after Feb. 22

Location: Valley Middle School

Falconburger just about every tournament listed is for just 3 grade girls if enough teams enter. Lucasville and Minford are. I think Portsmouth is also.

The Nelsonville-York Youth Basketball Assoc. will be hosting a girls' 4th, 5th, and 6th grade tournament February 12, 13, and 14. Tournament entry fee is $90 with a 3 game guarantee. I think that with 2 to 3 other tournaments going on at the same time is why we didn't get enough teams. We only had one entry fee and about 4 more teams interested. Maybe next year we can start things earlier and get the word out better. I do wish all teams and schools good luck in the other tournaments for the rest of the year.
