That is a good location. Maybe a little short on seating, although I have not watched a game there since the rennovation, I've only driven by.
Lots of ORANGE in this one, that's for sure!

I just looked at the brackets on the O.H.S.A.A. page and they were not updated. Can someone provide me a link with week 12 locations?

Here is the official OHSAA release that will have the host sites. It hasn't been updated yet, so we wait.

That's the one I was looking at. I thought maybe someone had one that was already updated.

I cant beleive this. Boston field is nice ,but I dont think it is big enough for a D4 game .JMO

I've been trying to find some info on the stadium and some pictures but so far I haven't found anything.

It is a real nice facility. I just dont think it seats that many. They also had construction going on there . They dont really have a visitor locker room. I am surprised at this game being played there.

Doesn't suprise me a bit. I talked with many of my ITown buddies this week, they expected to travel. OHSAA knows Ironton follows their team everywhere. I'm suprised this game wasn't even closer to Heath. Tigers show up, beat Heath, then on to probably Lancaster to play Amanda......imoh.....

Shocking that Ironton would get the shaft in the travel situation . Anybody know of a sports bar in Nelsonville to watch the Bucks play Iowa? By the way Ironton travles 95 miles, and Heath travels 55.

I'm not sure about in Nelsonville, but Athens has a variety of bars where I'm sure the OSU game will be shown. Nelsonville-York High School is about 20 minutes from the OU campus.

It's a nice field but I still think that the safer route would have been having us all go to Portsmouth. Especially this time of the year. I'd like to See OHSAA show more concern for safety in these assignments but at least it's a nice field when you get there.

what a ripoff 2 hr for ironton 1hr 10 min for heath , state skr.. us again. go tigers
Re: D4 - R15: (3) Heath vs. (2) Ironton
I still can't believe that they wouldn't use Jackson's field...it is right in between...and Heath would have even had a lesser drive...doesn't make sense...athens was too far...but to go beyond athens is just not right...
Re: D4 - R15: (3) Heath vs. (2) Ironton
We was going to go but not that far. time for choice number 2.

We were told last night that Jackson did not want to host two games. Whether that's true or not, it seems likely though because..we'll we're not going to be better location which Jackson would be. Now, Boston Field is very nice though, going be cozy though...Jackson would have been abundant seating as well. I'd say you'll have a lot of NY fans at this game that will take a bunch of the seats as well.
Wished Jackson would have reconsidered.
